As i stated before i have absolutely no problem with interracial dating. The only thing that pisses me off are the one's who consistely pushing it on other's. Respect is a two way street as you said..Black Love shouldn't be pushed on IRBP who simply don't want a Black partner in the same manner IR shouldn't be push on Pro-Blacks who don't want a non-black partners..and since so many seemly cannot take rejection very well..we have both sides insulting each other because their not an option...and the kicker is..in most cases wouldn't even want that person..they just don't like not being consider..

I agree. There's a dire need for a mutual respect among us regardless as to who we select to share our lives with. But, I'm afraid there can be no commonality, no settlement with accusations and slurs being slung from both sides of the fence. I mean, who would have thought that there would be a day that Black people would be RIDICULED for actually wanting to be with someone else who's Black.

Who would have thought that there would be an entire media machine campaigning against Black on Black relationships at the pitch that its presently on?

Now, in NO wise am I justifying the propaganda to dismantle the freedoms to be involved interracially, but lets be honest, the system is not as bent on nurturing healthy, substantiative, long lasting Black relationships, than they are the IR ones.

I see what your saying, doll, but I don't think CAPREE is an ideal example to be attempting to drive home a point. Capree is a TROLL who pushes the IR AGENDA, who although never has flirted with a Black man WHILE POSING AS "CAPREE", but will get pissed at Black men for expressing their own affinity for white b!tches all while she expresses her undying passion for white BOYS.

I personally believe most people..including most IR daters would prefer their own in an ideal world..and when you come across an amazing person from your own race..you may fantasized (or take it further)about that individual person(doesn't change how you feel about the group)...but at the end of the day...there is probably little regret about your choices..as either way has no guarantees of different results

As a whole we need to respect each other not only the relationships. Absolutely, this 100% true that's what boggles my mind. It must be revenge..seeking payback/punishment...I don't want you, but I don't want anyone else to want you...I want you to sit on the sidelines and regret how your group treated me...you will be sorry..LOL
and when they see they are not..they have moved on with ease..then it just shows how replaceable one really is and that is a huge blow to the ego...I guess some people deal with it, but trying to tear down the other's relationship..be in IR or same race..it's more about one's own insecurity,imho...then it is about the person in an IR or same race union..

You know i've never thought i see the day! but the media play's a valid role. It seem like dating out is the trendy thing to do if you're not doing it ... well you know how that goes funny thing is it's other blacks that make it seem being with your own race is wrong. You go on black blogs nothing but interracial relationship rarely do you ever see black couples. Majority of successful black men are with black women but all you see are the one's with "other's" Most of the successful / powerful couples are black men and women in the entertainment world. Denzel and his wife , Will and Jada , Beyonce and Jay oh and it's one in the white house now!

It's propaganda and these people have their own agenda.

Just like i respect those who found love outside their race, respect me for founding love in my mines. I don't follow trends that's for insecure kids even if i EVER date out i'm not doing it because everybody else is or because someone told me to....

If their be NO REGRETS for choices made, there wouldn't be all of this contention, ridicule & backlash for wanting to stay within ones race...AND VICE-VERSA.

I also feel that MOST of the IR demographic desires to be with their own race especially Black people, primarily Black women, and when those of US who are in interracial relationships, it does breed a bit of jealousy, if not a whole a lot of wonder to not have been able to lock down Black love for themselves for whatever the reason (misinformation, self-hate, environment, etc.) So, yes, I do feel like A LOT of folk (Black people in general) involved interracially do carry some antipathy for those who are actively involved with members of their own race especially when those involved in their own race could give a sh!t about what IR pushers are doing.

Hahaha YES i do think it's payback but the only person they are hurting are their selves. I'm saying how can you be happy on the other side of the fence YET you keep looking over? listen as a black woman when these men say they moved on i'm like oh well ok! and i just smirk what do i have to be sorry for? i didn't do sh*t to you.... I think the EGO has a lot to do with it and insecurity as well and when both of the things are at play the person can only retreat to insulting.

Exactly...if you're going to involve yourself interracially, let it be due to reasons that have nothing to do with status quo or STATUS...period.

But, I'm afraid that interracial relationships mostly ARE NOT based on 2 people consisting of other ethnicities who just so happen to come together. In the times we're living in, you BARELY have 2 people of the same race who actully come together and make a connection like that naturally. Of course black women are butt hurt but they have built up a tolerance of accepting black men with non black women since it is so common and has been going on for ever. It is fairly new for black men to see an abundance or at least an increased level of IR BW so for them it is different. It is fresh and new and more potent so they are more likely to be butt hurt - as I can see that they are judging from the negative comments about black women sell outs etc.

I don't that it is necessary to blame black women for being responsible for driving black men into the arms of other women but I think that you can say that IR black men are the reason why IR is so high amoung black women now -as a result of black men dating out.

Black men have been doing it for a long time and it was always highlighted in the media about black men making it and having to have a white wife. Black women back in the day were staying loyal, bringing up the kids and then all of a sudden they get dumped for a white girl when the going got good for their man. There was no reason for them to leave and date out apart from their insatiable lust for white flesh -that comes about from wanting what the white man has. Black women were blameless.

The media helped them to leave black women by allowing them to have unlimited access to their women. Sports starts and actors etc were all encouraged to have a white wife. It didn't take much encouragement either.

Black men have driven a large number of todays black women to seek pasters new. Why should they stick around waiting for a black guy when they are all going out of their way to date anything non black?

The OP talks about BW are at fault with pushing BM to other race of women. This is hard to believe when BM are dating and marrying out more than BW. Most BM don't marry BW and BM feel entitled to sleep with all types of women. BM psych has been damage and BM are still struggling with the self-hate within themselves. BM want what my White husband has and I feel in love with my white hubby because we love each other and he was my first White man I dated. He is kind, compassionate, romantic, provider, loyal, breadwinner, and many more. I'm blessed to be married to him.
