Why so much talk about who's "too black", "black looks", "black negative", "too white", etc?

It doesn't matter what skin color you have or what you look like, we are all beautiful on the inside (and if you really think about it, on the outside too).

True, many in the purest South/Central African populations have the 'slanted look, and else-where too.

If you know alot of black folk, you've known a couple with more slanted eyes. I mean really slanted eyes.

Some have it mildly though.

Some you may have seen popularly, like on TV are Nelson Mandela, and Tyrese the actor.

Phenotypes began on the African continent, for the most part.

I saw this picture once, of beautiful, really dark toned pretty black female of - I don't know what tribe - who had an extreme extreme "asian" feature: her eyes. They were really slanted and kind of thick. I've seen these features to a lesser extent in some Western Africans. I've seen this feature to an extreme extent in like three people I know, who are not even Asian but black (though I guess they could have some Asian ancestry, there is no reason to assume that *possibility* the reason for their phenotype, when the greatest diversity of phenotype is in Africa, and we all come from the same place, that said continent.

... I guess this is an ok picture:

People may say the San are mixed, because alot of them are yellow (they most like haven't been to Africa; alot peoples have 'yellow' people in their populations). These people actually turn out to be 100% indigenous, and coincidentally have 'spiral-tuft' hair form; the most curly (nappy) hair form on Earth.

One of the funny popular notions racial morphologies is that three narrowly - defined types of skulls can be assigned, exclusively to 3 races.

NNegroid type is the wide type.

Caucasian type is the narrow type.

Mongoloid is the Asian type, Asians thought to be mixed (despite having hair even straighter than white people's. It turns out whites are actually more mixed.)

What's funny is *soft tissue* turns out to be what's responsible for the majority of 'racial' differences in looks. Not skull shape.

An example is Michael Jackson. How did he look when young ... and now.

Take Kobe Bryant's nose and compare it to Andy Reid's:

Andy Reid has a wider morphology while Kobe's is more narrow. You see many black people like this. Their noses look identical (IN WIDTH).

OOh! Got a better picture of an African with so-called "mongoloid" features:

Yes that's true, there are some really beautiful people all over the world. A greater variety of looks actually serves us well:

It is widely known, not widely accepted that the concept of "race" is false and is an artificially constructed social/anthropological theory based on physical appearances. Even your description runs into a bit of trouble..."WIDE" "NARROW' and "ASIAN" Going from physical characteristics to 'location'. The dilemma is noted and understood because of the nature of what is attempting to be described. It CAN get complicated.

There is no such thing as black and white features. Who ever made that up was retarded. Plus there are some African Americans that have small noses, not wide. I also am multiracial and have a small nose and no lips.

Blacks have cool hair, very versatile. I like their facial structure, but I don't like the nose-type among the purer west-African/descent people. There is nothing exactly appealing about any nose, but it is all about how it goes with your facial structure, and I think a long and narrow Mediterranean nose goes better with those type of cheekbones. Lips are hot though.

i have recently become fascinated by what people write about these racial topics and how they deal with them. in this case some of you seem to be denying the elephant in the room because you don't want it to be there.

"there is no such thing as race." what does this statement mean? Does it mean that if someone came from outer space he/she wouldn't be able to point out the differences between a man from germany and an african tribesman?

just saying that something doesn't exist does not change the fact that it does exist. and since it is a false statement it seems to me that it can only hurt the cause of bringing people together.

just my 2 cents but i think it's best to be realistic.
