Every group in the diaspora was affected DUMMIE !!!!! Black Latinos try to become lighter. Hell Trujillo the dictator in the Dominican Republic invited Europeans to the island to "lighten up the race"
Even you had a baby with a WHITE MAN (who left you) probably for a REAL black woman with self esteem! Because you are whitewashed!! You came to topix professing your love for WHITE MEN in the beginning you would even be happy to talk to a white racist and even take sides with him... The only person with mental problems is you beyotch!!!!
You didn't read my comment. I said if AA light skinned and dark skinned black HAVE A PROBLEM WITH EACH OTHER.
All salve descendants have colour issues, but it's not dark skinned Caribbeans AGAINST light skinned Caribbeans or vice versa. Yes there is a bleaching problem in Jamaica, but Jamaica is a an undeveloped island of only 3 million people. And there is no animosity between light and dark skinned people.
You people are living in a massive and rich developed nation, yet you seem to have animosity towards each other.
That's the difference, that you actually have light skinned American girls on youtube insulting dark skinned BW and laughing at the pain they expressed on the documentary.
One light skinned woman wrote a comment saying "It's not our fault BM ignore you and give us all the attention. Stop crying on our shoulders about it. You can't force BM to find you attractive. get over it".
Caribbeans don't behave like that. Just like they may admire a woman with a particular shape, but they don't actively hate on and try to demean sistas who aren't shaped like that.
This excluding and hating that you r group does, may be linked to the fact you have had no separation from whites. And when whites did try to separate from you, you forced yourself upon them via civil rights movement.
Most groups, don't force themselves on other people who don't want them.

If I were you, I'd be more concerned about what you, blacks, and everybody in your entire continent are going to do. I heard that EU finace ministers just approved wealth confiscation plans for all future bank bailouts in Europe. This is just part of what's going on where you live.
What will be will be. Can't change it.
Why do you think your group suffers from such infighting regarding skin colour while other slave descent groups don't? Maybe immediately after slavery was abolished Caribbeans behaved like you, but the separation from whites unified them as a group.
Brunette WW may admire blondes and even dye their hair blonde, but they don't hate on them. Your women have hate for each other, the ones with colour privilige actually hate on the dark skinned women who get a tougher deal in the dating game. How weird is that, to actually mimic white Americans and hate on people darker than you, even though we all came from dark skinned West Afrcican slaves.

I admit that I didn't appreciate what NewNew was saying. In my culture a dark skinned girl would not suffer abuse from a light skinned mother, even if the mother had made the child with a light skinned man.
But I am beginning to suspect that dark skinned AA girls born to light skinned AA women might actually be getting raised by women who have animosity towards them and make them feel bad about themselves.
Very sad.

Most people want to be clearly defined. That's why many people pity biracials, because they hate the idea of not belonging conclusively to one group. That's why most people don't envy biracials or people that look mixed on any deep level. They may admire their looks on a superficial level, but they don't want to be them.

Just because my child is biracial, doesn't mean I should be blind to the struggles they have. As the mother of a biracial, I should be even more aware of these things. You ignorant fool.
Black people have biracial kids and because of white supremacy they just assume the kid is lucky and will have an easier life than the black parent. But it's not that simple. I believe that most biracials would prefer to be either black or white, not a mix of both.

Point taken. Its seem the pendulum swings both way. if you are on either extreme end of the wing you will be given a hard time.

"Just finished watching dark girl with my five beautiful children (four girls and one boy) all different shades. One looks Hispanic, one Asian, one Caucasian, one milk chocolate and yes one dark chocolate (same black father). As a child of a very fair white father and a dark mother, I have light skin, straight dark hair, shocking blue eyes but identify as black. Although I am overjoyed that the subject is being brought to the forefront of discussion I found it to be very one sided. There are no words to explain the tortures experiences I face even to this day as a fourth-three year old. Not dark enough to be "black", not light enough to be "white" and Hispanics spontaneously only speaking to my in Spanish. As a child the kids tell you that's not your mom or you were adopted. Your parents telling you, "kids will be kids and they will get it when the grow up". As a young person white men who are attracted to black females do not approach "us" (not dark enough), black men looking for white girl don't speak to "us" (to dark) and the constant explaining not of who you are be what you are. The ugly words, looks of disgust, standoffish tension and discrimination those like me and my children encounter, especially from our own family members, is absolutely horrifying and heart breaking. Wounds that will never heal, after all they are our family for life. We "get it" from all side and it's just about our skin color. Many years ago my father said something that helped me find my peace with it all, "baby wont everyone be embarrassed of themselves when the whole word turns beige. But I'm still afraid for my babies. They have a long haul ahead of them

there you go again being phoney you were talking to another poster talking shi about light skin women and how we are not REAL black people. Now you wanna flip the post and pretend like you were on bi racials side. Do you read what you type? You flip the script and type some delusional shi that had nothing to do with the original post as if you have comprehension problems. You are so fucin phoney it's annoying. And since you are not bi racial dear you can't say how they feel. Remember because you always seem to forget our bi racials don't have issues with being mixed because they are BLACK and treated as such. There is no side! The only problem is when dark skin women hate on them and show jealousy or when prejudice white people (kids) constantly remind them that they are black. You also need to stop lying about jamicians there is animosity between light skin jamician women vs the dark ones. My cousin is half jamician and I've been to dirty Rachet Azz Kingston. They have color issues like anyone else!! Even some of the reggae artists sing about the color problems on the island! Yeah maybe Jamaica is mostly black the countries entire income is based on the tourism industry lead by white people. So yes you all are still sucking on Masas nipple so don't try to pretend that you are so independent and so successful. If it wasn't for white money jamicia wouldn't exist anymore You always speak so great of jamicians vs black Americans yet you live in the UK !! If Jamaica was so great you would live there! All people in the diaspora have issues!! And don't come at me with some stupid " you didn't read all of my post" I did and you contradict yourself all the time, lie then try to change the subject

These Americans are so behind everyone else. It's like they're stuck in the 1870s.

So, you're going to formulate an entire WORLDVIEW based on what you read on SLOPix?

I wouldn't recommend that you do that, especially when most of what you read here about Blacks or by "Blacks" is mostly submitted by obsessed KKKrackas or white supremist "AA's".

There's only a few REAL Black people here. FACT...
