I think we should all accept what we are in this world. I just get offended by the nappy heads thinking I should embrace their naps. I have a right not to like naps. I also have a right not to want my kids to have that type of hair. That's all I'm saying. When someone says they don't like nappy hair all the nappy heads get upset about it. And just for the record, I don't like straight hair either nor the average "mixed" hair. For me, "good" hair is a fine line between the two, straight and nappy. I don't consider poodle hair, which lots of biracials nowadays have, good hair either.

I feel I shouldn't have to embrace a headful of naps if I don't like it nor have it.

Colorstruck is a word invented to hide racism. I have no problem with dark bm or any man going after light women. If that's who they like, it's just who they like. By all means, go after it. I'd much rather they do that then get with some unsuspecting dark bw just to be pc and then set out to make her life a living hell (which does happen). Darker bm especially take things way too far, they openly practice hatred against dark bw especially. That's what makes it racism. It goes beyond a preference.

I feel they do this because they feel the most pressure to be with darker bw when that's not who they want and they can't deal with pressure very well, so they resort to hate as a way to fit in. It's sorta sad.

Which means darker bm tend to have the most insecurities. They then attempt to transfer these insecurities to dark bw through the expression of hate.

Loving or liking darker women isn't a sign of security. Males and females have a right to go with who they like. What they don't have the right to do is practice racism against those they don't want (and assuming those individual want them is the height of arrogance).

dark skin women do have it harder because society not just Bm deems dark skin an unattractive. I've heard dark skin Bm say that " they don't want anything darker then themselves" that's self hate to the fullest . Dark skin women have to struggle with self esteem and feeling beautiful. Parents can try to make their dark skin daughter secure but society can pick away at that. Imagine a young girl in highschool just finding out who she is and she suddenly notices that most of the black guys chase after brown skin to light skin black women. Do you know how that's feels as a young girl? Teenagers already have self esteem issues trying to fit in and find out who they are. The next issue is the hair issue Bm always talk about " she got good hair" it's long curly and wavy. Many lightskin BW have hair and at times it's curly and wavy due to some recent admixture. Bm also really flip out about bi racial BW. I've witnesed this my entire life

Not true. The larger society sees unattractive as unattractive. Dark bm are spreading this nonsense to hide their own racism and insecurities. I'm a dark bw and I don't experience racism from the larger community based on my skin tone. In fact, my skin tone is liked because it's smooth and many like my almond shaped eyes.

Exactly. That's my point. Healthy males look at beauty; healthy males don't give a sh!t about skin tone.

Clearly as your above comment illustrates; it's not just dark women who struggle. Clearly dark bm have the biggest issues with this. This is odd as usually males don't struggle with esteem and feeling beautiful like women do. ALL women regardless of shade, struggle with these things. Not a good look for dark skin males.

Dark skin bm mostly chase after light skin women. They don't even fool with brown skin girls too much in terms of seriousness. But that's okay because light skin women are cleaning these guys clocks. That's why they bitch about women so much.

Not really. Many dark skinned bm I never wanted. I didn't find them attractive. I think many of them go out of their way to reject darker bw in order to feel powerful. These guys never had the power to affect my mood and many dark bw mood. This makes them angry. Many of them have devilish traits.

Who cares. Bm don't realize they make themselves look like fools; not dark bw. They are upholding and bolstering features many of them don't have. And many dark bw are like myself and have a great grade of hair. Just like many light skinned bw have nappy hair. So, again they are just weird and retarded as a group of males. You can try to dispute it but its a well known fact.
Even in soceity many view dark skin women as unattractive. Many of them have a hard time even the ones in.Hollywood

I never said it was a sign of security. From experience men with dark skin who date dark skin women ....are more secure with themselves. I've associated with dark skin men who preferred nothing but light or white women.....many have self hate issues. People need to stop hiding their self hate with a "preference"

You can't control people. I simply say us what we know for protection. I don't even deal with black males of any shade who throw around that word preference. For me, it's a warning sign that they have serious issues and I don't want that in my life. I can't ask them to stop using it. In fact, I'm glad they use it. It allows me to protect myself and let them die off.

I don't disagree that it's strange when folks don't find someone whose similar to them attractive but we are in a country with mostly whites. So, that type of stuff will happen. I say it's normal for the environment. What is unforgiveable is the practicing of racism. These men should be known as being totally welcoming. The last thing any black man of any shade should be known for is hate practising.

Well if a BW is trying to imitate the look of a non-BW, she's only setting up a comparison between herself & non-BW. Many PPL will probably find the most authentic more appealing because to an extent I think that's how Humans are programmed but we can also be brainwashed to find fakness attractive as well, at least this is what the media tries to do. At the end of the day, we can NEVER go wrong with being real with ourselves or accepting ourselves NOT because someone told us too but for our own peace of mind. Having peace of mind will also give one a positive vibe which is appealing.

Accepting oneself has little to do with manipulation of ones looks. That's where people like you are sorely mistaken.
