Liberalism truly is a mental disorder.
Okay we are not involved in Lobya. We only aided the rebels a little bit and they overthrew Qaddafi in a yr

The 99% Movement is a growing popular democratic movement for economic justice. It is a movement opposed to the concentration of wealth of the corporate plutocracy. And it challenges the worship of wealth and the demeaning of people.
Moreover, the Movement has remained for the most part markedly a NONVIOLENT MOVEMENT.

Is this a Movement such as Dr. King would support were he with us still? Is this movement akin to the Poor Peoples Movement which Dr. King and others were trying to build during the last few months of his life?....
Oh, I don't think there's ANY DOUBT whatsoever that Dr. King would firmly endorse the Occupy Movement, brother Savant. He would be down there in the camps....giving CNN interviews....speaking truth to power....cooking up soup or grilling some ribs...and otherwise helping fortify folks' morale.

Yes, a complete loser. His testicles retracted when you intellectually punked him.
LOL! Their testicles are permanetly retracted. That's part of the problem, lol. Besides being juvenile, high school dropouts (and mostly likely special ed, lol)

I'm let him show his arse since he went through so much trouble, I mean getting an email account checking for the link in the email and filling out the Topix forms.

Damn shame, ain't it? LOL!

Hey Harrison! No doubt he'd be in the thick of it and good Lord, the speeches, he would nail them and people would be motivated and inspired more than they already are and new converts would be pouring in.

Long time no read, but as always, it's good to read your posts. Our dear Savant is always on the forefront to help his people and others. God bless him.

This fool created an account and a thread. Because I have not paid him any attention, the little boy wants to follow me around looking for attention. Absolutely pathethic.
Ignore him, and those like him. Time to build a new movement. We've no time for venomous backbiters.

That's exactly what I am doing and you're absolutely right! lol.

As a matter of fact, I'm going to really ruin his fun. Got a lot to do tomorrow so I'm going to call it a night.

Excellent thread, Savant and of course, besides the riff raft, excellent posters contributing as well.

God willing, I'll check in on the thread tomorrow.

Good night...

Dr. King would most definitely support the Occupy Movement. It was what his entire philosophy was about and that's helping the poor and oppressed and those affected by injustice.
He'd be right out there with them!
Brilliant posts, Ekdes and Savant...
Dr. King would be about 82 years old, and protesting even if he needed a walker or a wheelchair.

The Occupy Movement would nicely coincide with what King was trying to do with the Poor Peoples Campaign. And since the Occupy is mainly NONVIOLENT, King would probably feel it was in the same spirit.

MEMPHIS

"All labor has dignity. But you're doing another thing. You are reminding not only Memphis, but you are reminding the NATION that it is a CRIME for people to live in this RICH NATION and to receive STARVATION wages."

OCCUPY BMORE TODAY

Oh god, it's cold this morning A mere 18 degrees. But we will march just the same. Fortunately, the march is planned for late this afternoon, by which time it may be much warmer.
If nothing else, we can shield each other from the chill of winter by the warmth of our solidarity.

Just remember, that if Dr. King had lived to lead the Poor Peoples Campaign, there would have been a massive OCCUPY DC, by hundreds of thousands in the Spring of 1968,

Let's go for it now! Victory for the 99%!

Try again.

US Armed forces were simultaneously engaged in three seperate arenas, and that has never happened under any administration before this one.

Listen to DEMOCRACY NOW! Amy Goodman will be playing speeches of Dr. King, and not just "I have a Dream", but his speeches against War, Poverty & Imperialism.

Nothing about the billions Obama has wasted, and not created one single net job, nor built one school, nor improved one single, solitary American's economic situation?

I think the international corperate monster we are fighting today really got established in the 1950s and King may not have had these things in mind at the time. Our generation now have reached a few steps further and our real issues are along the same lines as white folk now because. In order for us to take control of our community again this globalism idea has to end and go back to micro economics because its the Bank that owns most of that black people experience not jews, koreans, whites. The idea that the North American Black is subject to racist America is only an idea born out of globalisation ie Neo colonialism ie modern slavery.

I don't know but I'm gonna side with Malcolm X who said that the greatest enemy of the black man is the white liberal. We cannot and should not trust these patronizing, white-guilt-ridden crackers in the so-called Occupy movement.
