Well coming from a red bone....HELL YEAH I LOVE A DARK SKINNED MAN! In fact, I only date brown to dark skinned men. I'm yellow as the day is long but I just can't get down with a light skinned man. I have nothing against anybody but I just have the biggest thing for that chocolate!

Do light skinned women like dark skinned men? I don't know why this is posed as a question.Maybe that women do differently in different states. But with the exclusion of light skinned hispanic women,(they will usually be with a man their same light skin complexion)whenever I see light skinned women,(young women)they are more often out with a dark skinned man, than they are with a light skinned man,and I have noticed this for years.I've lots of cousins, most very very light skinned, and virtually all of them have always had a dark skinned long term boy friend,or husband never a light skinned one.My darker female relatives, without exception, married very light skinned men.It seems like the light skinned women who are famous actresses, and singers are the ones who by
in large, avoid dark skinned men, in fact avoid black men of any hue of color, and go real light marrying white men instead.

I am very, very light skinned, and no, I am not, nor have I ever been attracted to dark-skinned men. I only date men who are not Black. I don't know why I'm not attracted to Black men, I just don't find them physically attractive. I love my race, they just are not handsome at all to me. The kind of Black man I would be attracted to would have to be so light skinned, he would probably look white, so I figure why not go for the real thing? When I make love to a man, I like to see his hair move, and black men do make ugly children, especially with women who are not black. I really cannot see why anyone would be physically attracted to a black man. They are just ugly.
I too am very light skinned. But you say that black men make ugly babies? Why do you jump to the conclusion that the black man who mated with a light or white woman is the one who made the mixed baby ugly.Did it ever occur to you that the light or white woman made the baby ugly and not the dark skinned man.Like what you like, but don't go saying things like that, which are sooo LAME..

Some of you ar a bunch of ignorant ass people who might want to try reading a history book. BLACK PEOPLE not white nor mixed, light skinned, mullato or whatever you want to call it are the ORIGINAL people FROM WHICH ALL RACES COME, and not to mention the most beautiful. You are a bunch of shallow ass people who need to wake up and smell the blackness, because without BLACK FIRST THERE WOULD BE NO WHITE. It's a shame to hear black people so ignorant to the history of the great mother of all races and hues, which is the Black woman!! Pick up a book and get your head out of your asses.

I'm brownskin and I love darkskin men but a lot of the very darkskin men I've known seem to prefer lightskin women themselves. I know a dark skin brother right now thats also midnight in complexion and he openly says he loves light and latino women. I don't know that many light skin girls that like dark skin brothers as much as they like them.

I totally see your point, and yes, it is totally possible that the non-black mother is responsible for the unattractive offspring. It is just that I noticed that black men who have children with women who are not black often have children who possees features that are more similar to the father's and often times, these features do not mesh well with the features of the mother. My statements are not "lame" as you put it (which made you sound old)but formed from my perceptions and my own standard of beauty, which I am, of course, entitled to.
Ok, good of example of different people with different perspectives. When I seen biracial kids with their blacks fathers in the past, a lot of the times to me the kid looked like their mother. To me it looks so strange sometimes because the kid doesn't even look like his offspring.

Another point justified. You wouldn't believe this if I told you but most of the black females I lock eyes with is the light skinned ones. But as you see: With me being me, this don't go over too good with most people. Last night is the first time I mentioned this but brown is second on my attention list. So you already know who didn't make the top two. But unlike Nelly, number 2 is just as good a number to remember like number 1 is.

I totally see your point, and yes, it is totally possible that the non-black mother is responsible for the unattractive offspring. You did say in your statement that to quote you said "black men do make ugly children"-that is what you said,is why I called the statement lame. What's the word"lame" got to do with being old,I'd like to know, for you to remark that I sound old for using the word
"lame". Lame means"lacking in strength",and is a word that is used by persons of all ages,so it sounds odd to hear you remark that "I sound old" for using the word "lame". Also it is lame as in (lacking strength)to intend calling a person"old" for the purpose of insulting them, as you seem to have intended towards me, because whether I am young, old,or middle aged, all of us including yourself, have either two options in life one to die young,or the other to become old in age.It is no DISGRACE, and NOTHING WRONG about BEING OLD.So don't go thinking yourself clever by trying to insult someone by calling them "old".You live your life to satisfy yourself I believe, because in the final analysis you are the one who will have to feel satisfied with what you have done. So if you prefer the father of your children to be sired by a man who looks a certain way,in your case you say he needs to be light skinned, that is your right, and none of anyone else's concern,I think. So you will hear no judgement against you on that.

I would say most do, but I've dated more light skinned women than I have dated dark, I dont know maybe its the area I live or dark skin girls are also attracted to dark skin men aswell. Me I like carmel skinned beautys. Sadly I've only dated one, real pretty hazel eyes brown skin. She was bad!!! I dont limit myself to preference anymore I'll date any beautiful woman with a good persona attached.
