Just the response I wanted. I'm glad you're smart ebough to have made a wise decision, as you've learned from other black women's bad experiences with those thugs. If only more AA women had wisen up and started dating nice guys, they wouldn't be so heartbroken, angry, and miserable.

Of course women like to date jerks. Women don't know what to do with a "good guy" At least the woman knows what to expect from a jerk, and therefore doesn't feel guilty when sex is an issue. Overall, this is based on security and the woman's needs.

i think women that date those kinda loosers...have low selfesteem and dont think they can do better!!!

I say alot of women date Jerks because they dont have a large ooption to choose from, some women date Jerks because of the way they were raised, they may have been raised with alot of negative attention and still unknowingly crave it. Most nice guys turn into jerks after a while in a relationship because their too insecure to handle a woman.

So a woman would rather date a jerk and know he is a jerk because she wont get any suprises.

Unlike the devastaeing hartbreak that a nice guy turned monster can do to her .

i agree....it has a lot to do with how a women was raised up...my dad was a great example...and i always knew whoever i marrie has to be at least half the man he was....:)

i was mainly refering to the part where he said something about prefering to know guy is a jerk so you won't be surprised later.

i don't think all guys are jerks, but i am typically attracted to badboy types that get me into tons of trouble. i know precisely what i'm signing up for.

since i know he's an @ss, i know what to expect and there is no investment of emotions on my part.

those types of relationships don't typically work out in the long term... but they're fun for the moment.
