Well, if you all claim papuans haven't originally arrived from africa, how come their tribal artifacts are so similar to the african art and look nothing llike the ones the aboriginals(Supposedly their neighbors) have come up with?
Their DNA is entirely Eurasian.

I read articles about different cultures for fun :). Melanesians (Fijians, Papua Guineans, and Vanuatu) are descended from Micronesians. Micronesians characteristically have coarse hair and dark skin, while their Polynesian neighbors (native Hawaiians, Samoan, Easter Islanders) have straighter hair and a more olive complexion. Melanesians usually have faint Asian features (maybe because they themselves descend from Oceania?). Some also have (naturally) copper red hair.

The difference is that Melanesians have denisovan and neanderthal genes. Some Melanesians have natural blonde hair, but is a gene different from the European gene for blond hair.

I can hardly tell the difference between a person from Melanesia and Africa.
I love how white scientists have brainwashed these aboriginal peoples to think they're not 'black.'
Polynesians came from Africa went to the islands and then moved into Asia and Australia.
The ones in the pacific still have similar features to Africans.

Black Africans and some Melanesians look alike, but Melanesians have Neanderthal and Denisovan genes. Some Melanesians are born with blonde hair, but is a totally different gene, from the European (Caucasian) blonde gene. SubSaharan Africans, do not have either Neanderthal or Denisovan genes.

Melanesians, like every body else in this planet, are also homo sapiens, and originated in Africa.

They're called Negritos. I thought they were black slaves apart of the slave trade brought on from Spanish/Portuguese colonists. Right?

It's not so much based on skin color but physical appearance. Some have the various Sub-Saharan and Afro-Asiatic features. Hell, I even seen some that look like African-Americans of mixed Native American and European ancestry at various degrees.
According to some anthropological studies, Melanesians do not have African lineage.=(
What do you think?
Many of the people themselves have family histories that prove they came from Africa. I never pay much attention to that DNA crap. It is nothing but divide and conquer racism. But what we are learning is that there is no racial dividing lines between most Asians and most Africans. As far back as we can see in history, Asians and Africans have interacted and intermarried.

Right now, I am nearly finished with a thesis that proves that Chinese and Africans did business, trade and commerce, as far back as 202 AD. Some Chinese migrated to Africa and settled there and intermarried. Some Africans went to China as slaves and as free travelers and merchants. I have seen evidence that as many as 5-6 Chinese emperors had African ancestry. The few sources that mention clearly state they were not Chinese. Some think they were Arabs. But Arabs al have African blood. By the one drop rule, there 5-6 Africans who were emperors of China.

But the white man does not want us to know how close Asians (especially Chinese) are to Africans. In modern world, if we can re-establish these contacts, China and Africa together will constitute a major world power. I think the relationship can and will contribute to the emergence of an African Super Power.

Melanesians are not descended from Micronesians. They are descended from aboriginal Australians.

All human life originated in Africa. But I frankly do not think the first humans were black in complexion. I really do not think so. Stop preaching black racisn. We do not need that in Africa.

Filipino Negritos are native to the Philippines and not the result of slavery. Negritos are also found in Malaysia and native to that area as well.

The whole issue is a complete waste of time. We are all unique. Stop comparing or categorizing to make oneself feel good.

Haka i don't think this has to do with comparison or racism.

For some, like me, this is just out of curiosity if they arrived New Guinea directly from africa(hell of a journey, which can't be explained by the known boats technology back then) or by the natural immigration (starting in africa and then to other continents), which makes it odd too cause they look similar to the black african.

Historically, some people find it interesting, nothing wrong with that!

Considering the climate(that is if Africa was already hot by then) and many other things, I think those hominids who originated in this continent were black in colour. As a black person from Africa I found it sad that we as humans instead of focusing on things that bring unity among us as a human race we spend too much time on our differences. Whether we are white, black, brown, red, yellow we are all human.

The out of Africa theory is false!!! No such thing as the origin of species theory by the racist Darwinist... Biblical sources are in perfect union with history... First humans are as the Bible recorded! Those that refute have not even read the bible from cover to cover!

You people who believe in evolutionary theories are literally idiots because you draw conclusions without first investigating everything else...

Oh great another uninformed Creationist nitwit.

Evolution is well proven by a mountain of evidence.

OOA is also confirmed.

The Bible is ancient Hebrew mythology. Much of it is rooted in truth, but cannot be trusted without confirmation.

You know nothing about evolution or science so don't tell us what we do or don't know.

Melanesians, genetically, cluster very far from black Africans. They are even less related to black Africans than Europeans, in spite of their appearance.
