There's a severe moral and educational decline happening in the U.S. It's effecting the poor a great deal and the black community it's self has been made a target. Even the [email protected] rights movement has used us as a springboard, using our struggle and our leaders for their own gain. Seems to me that BW & BM here are actually taking on the moral values/traits of their oppressors and that is NO good!

My point: the black community needs to address these 2 issues as all important (education/morality) at this time. There needs to be a national dialog. We are in need of severe cultural adjustment in the face of the negative and increasingly immoral media influence. This is a time where we can make a MASSIVE impact on society and make unprecedented gains as a people culturally/economically and spiritually, by holding to solid moral standards that other Americans are disgarding. Basically, we have a chance to groom ourselves in a way that is counter to what the establishment is forcing onto the populous. This has been hard to put into words, but I know you get me! 8)

There is a culture shift that is happening with BP and it is long overdue.
We are two decades behind the push we need to make for education and morality.
That is one of the benefits about hitting rock bottom, there is no where to go but up.
All is not lost, we can still turn this around.

I get you. And I agree 1000%. We must reject the liberal middle class values of the western world in order to embrace our own African values. The best way to express that at this time is through the adoption of Islam. But I know that most of us will not do that any time soon. Failing to do that, simply get to know the corner store owners. Do not expect them to come down to this level where everything is failing. Understand and respect Islamic, Sikh and Hindu values. It is through the Asian and Arab contact that we can reach Africa. In addition, we already have the African refugees as a fresh infusion of good clean blood into our community. Stop oppressing them and trying to force Christianity down their throats. Embrace as our own unconditioanlly. They are our hope of saving this community

If people felt they're was a circle or click they could belong too and socialize with they would not throw they're body's around with anyone..We need to build social circles and ways of being together ..that's really what started out as drawing blks to deviate behavior was peer pressure and a sense of belonging...

I've talked w/my brother on this on a number of occasions. My brother likes how much of Islam continues some Biblical traditions and feels it has outmatched European Christendom. I agree, that they have, but not at the moral foundation of their teachings. It's ever been a military/political animal in history and it's likely that we would totally lose any support from the white public and suffer vehement intolerance/criticism and blatant oppression at their hands if we took it up. They would view us as a direct threat to their society and values. Besides, it's just not realistic. The baptist church has been the backbone and power base of the black community here but suffers the malignant cancerous influence of European Christendom. Also, though it would be nice to have some support of the Arab populous, they have never counted themselves as our allies, ever since the fall of the Persian Empire. It's just not feasible.

MAJOR point! And the most crucial element, imo. We tried to do so with the Panthers at a time when we had virtually no economic or political clout and we were easily infiltrated, discredited and disbanded. We are in need of a new vehicle for our empowerment and it isn't the Panthers OR the stagnant, outdated NAACP. There may be some use to a black face in office if we work fast enough and even without Obama, the world is watching now more than ever via satellite and the oppressive power we are under can't afford any bad press. They wouldn't dare treat us as they did when we first tried to immobilize. I think now they are hoping they beat it out of us and I feel it's our duty to prove these arrogant people wrong. Test the waters, so to speak, test the boundaries, because as an afflicted people, I believe we have the right to. What boundaries? Social ones and politics isn't everything, not the only way to govern ourselves, as I firmly believe this government has failed us!

What is needed, in my opinion, is the recognition that our legitimate pursuit for justice and (if you like) morality and education is a global problem. Our efforts should be aimed at widening our worldview. We must see that the plight of Blacks starving in Darfur, workers being enslaved in China's industrial plants, women and children being traffiked for sex slavery, etc.--their plight is similar to our own.
.
We must begin to understand that the world should not be broken down to simplistic understanding such as Moslem vs. the West, Black vs. white, good vs bad...

I agree. If there is a downside to your argument it is I detect tendency on your part to see everything from a weak position. This is the result of low esteem for black people. I think you are wrong for that perspective. Blacks are not inherently weak especially not in Africa. We are strong in many ways. Therefore, our major problem is how to Unite the entire continent of Africa. That presupposes getting along with the Berbers, Arabs and even whites of Africa. Clearly we can see that the whites in South Africa are in a far weaker position that we as blacks are as a whole. So lets get out of that type mindset and focus our energies on Unity.

In Sudan, I want to say emphatically that the South Sudan approach is absolutely the wrong approach. They should have been working for Sudanese unity rather than playing into enemies hands by going to civil war with their northern brothers and sisters. That stupid war was entirely sectarian. And there is no reason why Christians and Muslims cannot get along. Historically, we always been able to get along. The only difference in Sudan was the white man's role in instigating trouble. We have to learn to avoid falling into the traps of divide and conquer.

Darfur is absolutely a non starter all the way around. For one thing, the enemy's only wedge is race. And race is entirely imaginary. Both sides and Muslims. So there is bound to be reconciliation sooner rather than later. As they get a better view of the huge mistake the souterners made, the Darfuri will be much, much more willing to think clearly and totally re-think their whole position. They cannot possibly win in Darfur any more than they ever had any realistic chance of winning in the south. The South has lost a great deal. To date, they cannot sell one drop of oil because they are land-locked. Also, their political parties have already proven themselves to be nothing but a bunch of crooks. This means that must reach a reasonable deal with the north. And the north is not in a bargaining mood. So the south is in a hugely bad and weak situation. Darfur is not likely to follow that type of stupidity.

It is every Western State's Agenda to literally dumb down their people via Media and the drugs added to the foods they eat and the water they drink.
Even social services make them more controllable.

Idiots are easy to control and manipulate and they are easily fooled by Media the BS plays.

Gas is at $4.00 and The Bankers stole 1/3 of the wealth from the middle class; not to mention 3 generations have to pay off the bailout in Taxes.

The US Dollar will keep declining and not recover because White expatriatism is increasing exponentially and it is directly correlated to the plummeting US economy.

Wrong.

Liberal middle-class values are what all mankind need to embrace more of.

Its religion that we can do without.
