I agree, your answer reveals intellectual deficiency. Less politely, we call that dumb.

Here's some info. I found on Wiki- At the South Carolina constitutional convention in 1895, an anti-miscegenation law and changes that would disfranchise blacks were proposed. Delegates debated a proposal for a one-drop rule in these laws. George D. Tillman said the following in opposition:
"If the law is made as it now stands respectable families in Aiken, Barnwell, Colleton, and Orangeburg will be denied the right to intermarry among people with whom they are now associated and identified. At least one hundred families would be affected to my knowledge. They have sent good soldiers to the Confederate Army, and are now landowners and taxpayers. Those men served creditably, and it would be unjust and disgraceful to embarrass them in this way. It is a scientific fact that there is not one full-blooded Caucasian on the floor of this convention. Every member has in him a certain mixture of… colored blood. The pure-blooded white has needed and received a certain infusion of darker blood to give him readiness and purpose. It would be a cruel injustice and the source of endless litigation, of scandal, horror, feud, and bloodshed to undertake to annul or forbid marriage for a remote, perhaps obsolete trace of Negro blood. The doors would be open to scandal, malice and greed; to statements on the witness stand that the father or grandfather or grandmother had said that A or B had Negro blood in their veins. Any man who is half a man would be ready to blow up half the world with dynamite to prevent or avenge attacks upon the honor of his mother in the legitimacy or purity of the blood of his father."
Multi-racial identity
The social identity of children and of their parents in the same multiracial family may vary or be the same.[23] Some multiracial children feel pressure from various sources to "choose" or to identify as a single racial identity. Others may feel pressure not to abandon one or more of their ethnicities, particularly if identified with culturally.
Some multiracial individuals attempt to claim a new category. For instance, the athlete Tiger Woods has said that he is not only African American but "Cablinasian," as he is of Caucasian, African American, Native American, and Asian descent.[24]
Some children grow up without race being a significant issue in their lives.
[B]eing multiracial can still be problematic. Most constructions of race in America revolve around a peculiar institution known as the 'one-drop rule'... The one-drop conceit shapes both racism—creating an arbitrary 'caste'—and the collective response against it. To identify as multiracial is to challenge this logic, and consequently, to fall outside both camps.[25]
[M]any monoracials do view a multiracial identity as a choice that denies loyalty to the oppressed racial group. We can see this issue enacted currently over the debate of the U.S. census to include a multiracial category— some oppressed monoracial groups believe this category would decrease their numbers and 'benefits.'[12]
Many students who called themselves 'half-Asian/Black/etc.' came to college in search of cultural knowledge but found themselves unwelcome in groups of peers that were 'whole' ethnicities.'(Renn, 1998) She found that as a result of this exclusion, many multiracial students expressed the need to create and maintain a self-identified multiracial community on campus. Multiracial people may identify more with each other, because "they share the experience of navigating campus life as multiracial people," (Renn, 1998) than with their component ethnic groups. Multiracial students of different ancestries have their own experiences in common.

she could pass for white, but she is in fact a quadroon.........the only real indication of her kneegroid ancestry is her black eyes.........

........if I were going out with her on a date and I didn't kno, I would rather she told me about being part kneegroid, so I could end it there and then before we get to sexing........

......becoz I would not sex with knigrows.......

Mariah Carey looks mixed race to me, but somewhat more white, but definately mixed race. The lady changed her nose a tad bit, and she has features in her face that are somewhat heavy compared to a white person. She tans high yellow olive, big wild curly hair, she does not look like a full white woman. To me, her face show her mixed heritage. She can never pass for white, unless she gets her whole face reconstructed. We dont know what percentage of white or black she is, her dad's father was a afro mixed latino as well, his mother was a AA woman from alabama, so shes close to half and half.

Yep she looks mixed, same as I do. And these people on here saying that she looks white,or saying that she looks black are full of it. They're full of bull because, just the fact that the question of what she looks like is being discussed means that she does not look like the typical non biracial black person. I mean like if we were discussing Marilyn Monroe for instance, there would not be any debating whether she looks white, black or otherwise, cause she clearly looked white. Same with Michele Obama, there would be no discussion on what race she looks like, since she looks straight up black, who'd be discussing whether she looks like this or that?
So just based on there being a discussion here on what color Mariah looks like, is in itself proof that she does not look black, nor white, but she instead physically shows her mixture.Boy oh boy,how people can psyh themselves into seeing things the way they want it to be,instead of the way it really is!!!!!

Well most don't have any problem when a half white, half black says that they are black,so why then is there a problem with a half black, half white saying that he is white? What's good for the goose is good for the gander I always say.

Mariah Carey is a hot looking quadroon who could probably pass for white if she wasn't so famous and everybody didn't know that her daddy was a nicca.

I don't see any strong difference between Mariah's facial features, and the facial features of a white women. And that's not saying that her facial features have no trace of black blood in it,but just not all that strong as you are saying here.
It seems like you are saying that white women typically have delicate facial features,by you saying that Mariahs facial features are heavy compared to that of white women. Actually there is lots of diversity among facial features of white women, depending upon what region in Caucasia they originated from, like Russian woman typically have broad noses, and heavy facial features. I see white woman all the time, they don't all have thin lips, nor narrow noses, but with naturally full lips, high cheek bones, and somewhat flat noses, usually of Russian,or Polish decent, and they look way different from other white women who originated say from Ireland. And I can see the Irish strain in Mariah. Not to say that Mariah's facial features show no trace of possible black or other non white admixture, but she doesn't look strongly different than most white women, slighyly yes maybe, but not a big contrast there.
To me,there is more of a difference between Mariah's facial features compared to the facial features of most none biracial black women, than there is a difference Between Mariahs features and that of the typical white women.

Of course not although she looks more like a white woman than a black woman or hispanic being that her father is Afro-Venezuelan. She is the true definition of a mulattoe.

I always thought that Mariah looked more white than anything else and as happy as she always appears to be, I bet she wouldn't have it any other way. Can't say that I blame her.

Sure she (Mariah) looks white,or at the least MORE white than black. Hell, when she first came out, people referred to her as "the white girl who sang black",which they would not have done if she looked strongly black,so what are these people who are saying she looks way different than a white woman talking about?.
I being from a strongly mulatto family, can detect when someone has some black in them, no matter how white they look.As I recall, when years ago, I saw the movie "Flash Dance" with Jennifer Beals in it,and though I had never before heard of,or seen Jennifer Beals,I told my friend that she is biracial, and my friend said- "no way". But as she became more popular, same as Mariah,it became common knowledge that she was biracial, and not white.
I notice that all one needs,is to have a little tiny bit hint of black in their features, and people(mostly black people and white people will do this)-will exaggerate that small tiny bit of a hint of black, and say that one looks strongly black, listen to them, they do it all the time. Looking strongly black doesn't mean to them that one has more black features than white, instead it means to them, that one who has some minor hint of black in their features.
