And now, as Republicans emerge in the early earliest days of the next presidential cycle with their own proscription to fix what ails the GOP—Eric Cantor one week, Paul Ryan the next, Jeb Bush the following—the one thread linking each diagnosis is plain: WE ARE NOT THE PARTY OF ROMNEY. To lead the party in the future, candidates must be everything Romney is not: not old, not rich, not white, not Northeastern, not living down any past apostasies. Only then can the right potion be discovered to exorcize the ghost of Romney for good.
It used to be that losing presidential contenders were seen as still relevant. Think of John McCain, who remains a spear for Republican senators. Sometimes, as in the case of John Kerry and Al Gore, the losers were considered frontrunners the next time around. Or, in the case of Bob Dole, they retired to a sort of a bipartisan eminence and were mostly forgotten.
But Romney has been doing more to define what the party stands for—albeit as a mirror-image example—than he ever did while running for president. The memory of his candidacy is forcing the party to confront its weaknesses in a way that his real candidacy never could.
“People didn’t blame McCain,” says John McLaughlin, a GOP pollster.“But in this case you had high unemployment, a flat economy, a president that wants to raise taxes, a cover-up in Benghazi, and a president willing to make defense cuts. The stakes were so high, and we thought we were going to win. It is just really aggravating to Republicans.”
One reason the former governor’s shadow is lingering: unlike McCain and Kerry, Romney did not have a political role to fall back on after Election Day. Their losses were equally painful to the party faithful, but they were able to take up the fight again as soon as the next legislative session began. Nor was Romney a beloved figure. Lacking the irreproachable personal biography of a Bob Dole, he was known mostly as a ferocious intraparty brawler who tore down Rick Perry, Newt Gingrich, and others. Romney was seen as a transitional figure by party stalwarts, someone who could tide them over until the deep bench of 2016 was ready.

That is also true. Obama screwed up big time in Libya. But the GOP is offering no alternative. All they are doing is complaining about Benghazi. But there would have been no Benghazi to begin with if Obama had not attacked Libya in the first place. Libya was bothering nobody. They attacked it as a target of opportunity.

Now we have KKKerry over there proving he is as stupid sold-out to the zionist Lobby as Hitlery is. The GOP needs to at least discuss an different approach. Obama/KKKLinton have been slaughtering people in Syria for over 2 years now. And they ARE NOT WINNING and will not win. Surely the GOP can do better than that.

Now look at Mali. France cannot win there either. The best they can hope for is for the local Africans to come to their rescue. But who will pay for enough mercenary troops? Do not we have enough of a deficit already?

Then there is Zimbabwe. Mugabe has clearly won that battle years ago. But the West is still stuck on stupid to a degree. Of course the EU is coming to its sense. But what about DC? Is their racist so deep that they cannot see that the Africans have won and the whites have been defeated?

This is why the GOP cannot win black votes. They did end slavery. But that was 150 years ago. What about today's reality? Cannot the GOP overcome its own internal racism and enter the midern civilized world? I doubt it.

There needs to be a serious attitude adjustment in the GOP on the racism issue. China is taking over in Africa. The West has already lost that battle. But evenso, the West still needs the resources in Afirca. So, why not face reality and stop deluding themselves into thinking that military might will solve the problem? It will not. 300 years ago, the West had no serious opposition from the East. And they took over the entire world. That will not happen ever again. First there was the Soviet Union. Now there is still a Russian Federation. Plus, there is China, India, Japan, the Muslim countries in Africa and Asia and most of Asia. There are simply not enough NATO trtoops and firepower to do all that. Drones won't solve the problem.

The GOP needs to call for peace in Palestine. But we do not hear them doing it. And until there is peace, neither the Dummycrats nor the GOPO will have any serious credibilty among intgelligent and thinking voters.

That is an obvious lie and very stupid of you to say. GOPers are American citizens. So what kind of sense does it make for you to say they do not care about Americans? Obviously they care about themselves.

But right now American values are so loose that both the GOPO and the Dummycrats are drifting off into la la land. They are doing soical experiments vis a vis "gay marriage". This is something that no society has ever tried before, except maybe Sodm and Gommorah. And we all know that things did not end well for Sodom and Gomorrah.

But my main concern is Africa. We are Africans. Therefore, we must concern oursleves with hjow American foreign policy affects Africa. We cannot accept and allow Dummycrats like Queen Obama attcak an African country that is not messing with the USA. But that is what Obama did. Likewisde, we cannot accept when a Republican attacks Africa. And that is what Reagan did. The big difference is when Reagan attacked Libya, we held him accountable and they stopped messing with Africa until Queen Obama came to office. When the queen attacks Libya, nobody wants to protest. I will not accpet that. If it is good for te GOP, it is good for Dummycrats. Nobody can attack Africa without suffereing the consequeces, as far as I am concerned.

So as Africans, we must use our heads and think for oursleves. What s best for our community? What is best for Africa? Who represent values that will help our families stay united and get marri4ed to rsise our children?

I am a life long Nkrumahist. I spent decades in the All-African People's Revolutionary Party. Now I am active in the Convention People's Party.( http://conventionpeoplesparty.org/ ) The CPP is concerned about is best for Africa. One of the projects that I am promoting is a CPP Pan-Africanist Credit Union in which we will pool and save our money and use it to finance projects in our own community. One of things we must do to make this work is take political power in our own neighborhoods and use that power to deposit government money into our own credit union. Come help us.

Well Christie referred to Democratic Speaker Ms. Oliver as an African American Woman instead of her legal during a church meeting. We will see if this screws his chance of running for the 2016 US presidential race. He is an idiot and this will follow him.

I'd rather have an idiot like Christie than a queen like Obama who does not know the difference between a man and a queen.
