1. People didn't think that the Civil Rights Movement was going to do any good.
2. People said that segregation would last forever.
But people in the Civil Right Movement fought and now segregation is gone.
You only lose when you DON'T TRY
The civil rights issue and this issue are two completely different beasts though WNF. The generation before us were more mentally inclined to do what they needed to do and not to mention they worked together. Today's generation are just the opposite. Majority of Black people want that type of stuff in their music no matter the signatures. Majority of Blacks wanted their civil rights. That's the difference. I agree with your last part but trying is a losing battle if you can't tackle where the issue really is and it doesn't start with the music. There's more of the N word and degrading of sistas going on the streets and in these people homes learned from their parent than there is in the music industry. They're doing the tango with the wrong beast. They'll do what the faggot rapper did, they'll stop using the N word and just start rapping about 'gimme that boy p)ssy'. It'll never change because it's in the people mindset, not the producers but the ones they are producing the wanted product to. The producers are only giving the people what they want.

1. Should black people just lay down and ACCEPT DEFEAT to negative Rap music

2. Or should black people fight back against it?

We should fight against it. You have to start by fighting in the right area first though. What kind of people produce the music? If the rap goes away, then you still have the very lyrics in human form taking control in the streets and the neighborhoods. Most Blacks are all talk, but when it comes down to doing the dirty work, most are lazy. Signing a piece of paper is stupid, point blank. Even those in the civil rights era never put so much focus on signing a stupid paper. They did the dirty work. That's how you change things.

Rap is the only so called form of music that call black people The N word

Rap is the only so called form of music that talks about KILLING blacks

No other form of music do that

The whites and the Jews that run the record companies allow it

1. So yes blacks should go against the record executives.

2. The Record executives are the drug king pen, that supply the drugs

3. The rappers are the drug dealers that stand on the corner and sell drugs

4. You go after the drug suppliers and the drug dealers

This petition is right on point, because the more people that sign it it will put pressure the record executives and the rappers.

I like this idea but the only issue I have is we are always lookin' for our oppressors to change. We don't have to support the media, period. Stop supporting the media means a lost of customers which is what the seller need in order for their product to have value. The only reason the media has value is because many of us support it. We must support and value entertainment controlled by us. In other words, if it isn't controlled by ur group, you shouldn't support it at all. This would eventually lead to ownership and self sufficiency. This is a sacrifice we must take as a group if we desire change. Signing this petition is taken the easy road whether the results is successful.

That petition say that if record companies don't stop, they are going to be HIT with a class action lawsuit from blacks against those record companies that continue to put out songs that degrades blacks.

I think that's a good thing, financially break them if they don't stop

A lot of people have gotten victories through petitions

Laws have been changed through petitions, if enough people sign them

Even if you don't buy it somebody else will

So black people have to STOP record companies from putting it out

That's if black people have any RESPECT about themselves

No other race of people would allow themselves to be degraded like this

It's not that the Whites and Jews (White imposters really) allow it. It's that Blacks allow those kind of people, all other people, to put a stain on them or us. Why do we always have to look towards other people bending backwards to appease us when it should be the other way around first anyway. We are the ones who need to change, not them. They are doing what they will do because WE allow it. Do you get it? Signing a petition is a good deed, but the only problem I see with that is that there will always be another record company and another and another and another who comes along to produce more ridiculous rap artists. The problem should stop with us because as long as they can make a buck off of you, it will always continue from those people. Malcolm X also said to be self reliant. Put that first and you can't go wrong.
