I am an African American female and I dont like black purely for the fact that i am NOT attracted to them. I was raised in a predominantly white enviornment and my father and step father both died when I was young. So while growing up I didnt experience the so called "greatness" of black men. And since I am a young lady in these times black men are completely disgusting to me incases of personality. The whole thug look and hood mess is old. I dont think they are physically attractive to me. Some are, but most arnt in my opionion. so you guys can continue to stand up for them because i sure as hell DONT want them. Thank you!
P.S- For all who believe that white men look down on me or take advantage of me because i prefer them is purely mistaken because I am a very pretty black female and they all think of my looks and personlity with a high note. I was thinking the same thing. I don't know if it shows up on your computer, too, but there is an ad for interracial dating that shows a Black woman and a White man, and they're both undressed. It is very irritating to me that people think that is the only way we can relate to one another. I'm completely with you... no one is going to tell me who to love, and I'm not going to feel like I have to justify my feelings. I hope one day soon, we can GET OVER IT in this country and work on things that really matter.

Have you ever thought that maybe the black women of this generation prefer white men [in particular] due to the fact of being raised in a different environment where they are around a large majority of whites...and then going to college and being in an environment that is similar to "home." But it was a black guy that she has known since highschool, who had always cared for her who has been there for her. So the thing is we should never say never, because life happens. and We can't always control the outcome of life. All I am saying is, it is certainly your choice who you are with. But, you sound worse than some white racist that I grew up around or went to school with. If you like white guys that is your choice but that does not mean that you have to hate all black men. This is a very unfair (not to mention f*cked up) attitude towards all black men. What about all of the whites that you have come across that did not like the fact that your guy was with you. You are doing the same thing to black men. Just try to spend sometime thinking about how hypocrytical that attitude is. We don't all disrespect,abuse and discard black women. Some of us have been taught to love and respect all women.
