Abdurratin is one, among several on this thread alone.<quoted text>Well I am certain ou are reasonable as well, but you're only seeing it from your perspective and is not giving yourself a chance or an opportunity to see it from a different perspective.
I just don't know of any blacks, personally, that has any "lust for revenge". I know quite a few who long to be understood by their fellow citizens and not be constantly subjected to rhetoric which makes only one side out to be the bad guys! It took whites and blacks to make this mess and I'm sorry Prep, but it was all initiated by whites. No matter how you look at race in this country or from whichever perspective you view it from "misguided and zealous whites started it" all. That's the big elephant in the room that whites just refuse to see or maybe they just want to ignore it. Now blacks try to protect themselves from what has clearly been an offensive toward them. Not revenge! Defense! With the help of some very beautiful white people I might add. We are not doing no more than whites would do, except maybe some whites just don't like being on the wrong side morally speaking! The majority of blacks do not hold a grudge for slavery, but the majority of blacks do get defensive, when we feel our civil rights are being threatened. Wouldn't you do the same if you felt your rights were being threatened or violated by any one or any group? You don't have to answer Prep, I know you would! And you would be in the right for doing so.
I disagree. It was Blacks in Africa who enslaved Blacks, and sold them to Whites to be shipped here. But that isn't relevant anyway. That is getting back to revenge, an eye for an eye, or the chicken or the egg debate. As long as someone is saying, you started it, and I want retribution, racism is going to persist. End of story.
Reverse discrimination is not defense.
Man, we may have to agree to disagree. I'm just trying to save y'all some heartache. You like history. Tell me what happens once the liberals in this country piss off the working, tax paying, second amendment defending white people. Once they decide they have had enough Affirmative Action, reverse discrimination, funding government handouts, and having rights threatened or infringed, it's too late to stop it or take it back. They are going to take their country back. Blacks may want to think about what is truly important to them, and who they want to side with.
