im dominican and i live in nyc and let me tell u how it is. i dated a jamaican guy (couldve passed for spanish) and i also kissed another black guy who use to go to my school (he was adopted, i think he was half black and white) and i was kinda interested in this black guy that was in my class last year but thats it. so basically i dont despise black men, i just wouldnt prefer them and i most defently hate when those deadbeat black guys come up to me and try talking to me and just dont take NO for a damn answer. its just annoying, especially when they follow u in their damn cars, and ESPECIALLY the latest incident when i got on the bus and some black guy got in with me and got off at the same stop as me--oh man did i btch him out!! thats why i dont like black guys, thats why i get extra pissed when one of them approaches me because they take it to the next level and dont comprehend that im not interested. sorry if im offending but its true.

It's all about consciousness. The most macho men are the ones trying to prove something. They cannot wrap their brains around the idea that most respecatable women will hook up with men they meet on the street. But just be nice and firm. Don't be rude or you'll hit their insecurities. Then they may try and get aggressive to save face. I had a brother "holla" at me last summer and I just said "hi" very pleasantly but KEPT WALKING. Little did he probably know but that I was most likely twice his age, LOL!
