Republican Party going extinct!

And I used to campaign extensively in CA for Democrats, and they always sent me to the barrio since I speak Castilian. MANY Mexicans commented that the GOP was racist; it was a VERY common opinion. Are they all stupid as well?
I think when so many of the VICTIMS of white racism are able to identify where the white racists are to be found, they should not be dismissed. It is in fact RACIST to assume that all those blacks and Mexicans are too stupid to figure this out...
And look in this forum. Of all the white racists spewing racism against blacks and others in here... ask them yourself... are they GOP or Democrats? Go on, they're all your friends,┬┐que no?
Then what party do the racist/bigoted Blacks belong to?

Redistricting. They love to do their best to draw up the maps so that they can exclude minority votes as much as they can.
That Arizona bill which targets Mexicans.

the real problem (though i think policy is a problem, too) for the repukes is image.

when your spokes people are rush, hannity, coulter, and the rest, you gonna turn off minorities. and whites (mostly single ww) who are uncomfortable with the rhetoric of the extreme right.

is the republican party going extinct? yes, i believe so.

this election was bigger than just this election. the trend here with obama getting 75% of the hispanic vote, and 73% of asians, and 65% of nonsouthern single ww, represents a demographic nightmare for the gop, in 2016.

if hillary runs and has a hispanic on the ticket, the repukes might as well not even show up!

cuz her margins with all those groups will be even greater than obama, along with sealing 90+% of the aa vote.

2016 could be the biggest political beatdown in american history. and this is why republicans are in panic mode cuz they know it.

and it doesn't get any better in 2020. cuz virginia, north carolina and florida will be solidly democratic, while texas and georgia become the new big *left leaning* toss up states.

this is just an impossible situation for the gop to deal with as currently configured.

i predict the party will eventually split between moderates and far right conservatives. with the far right morphing into a fringe party over time.

I think all politicians try to redistrict things to be in their favor and Democrats try to use immigration to their advantage. If the government and ANY decent number of politicians cared about guarding out border these past few decades up to now, there would be no problems for border states. Immigration and the border should not even be a "race" issue. Just one more way to manipulate.

I never listen to those people. I did listen to Glenn Beck for a while, but didn't like stuff he said about Ron Paul- so I stopped listening. He also began getting on an "Israel" kick that sounded like an extreme fundamentalist preacher- beyond the usual "we must support out ally" talk.

No kidding! Why the hell do you think I was supporting Ron Paul in the primaries?

Still, the GOP is the worse of the 2.

In Mexico there's another option. They have the PAN (Republicans), the PRI (Democrats), but also the PRD, who are leftists. The PRD has won the last 3 elections and had the elections STOLEN, but at least they exist as an option, and the electoral fraud can't go on forever...

I think this election swung the pendulum back to the Democrats, as 1980 did for the Repugnants. The GOP will not disappear, but will be like it was from 1933-1981, always in the minority in Congress.

As lame as the Democrats have been during the Reagan Revolution years 1981-2009, still they remain a far better option than the corporate-lackey GOP.

Now we the people must be active and force the Democrats to act like Democrats instead of GOP Lite.

One of the most racist/bigoted blacks in this forum is Abdurratin. He is a Republican.

Others, the extreme black culture nationalists, probably don't vote.

Did you hear that Israel is building new settlements in retaliation to the late UN decision and in violation to UN law.

obama has an opportunity to be a truly transformative potus. and i think he's not gonna disappoint. he already got health care taken care of. i'd like to see'm deal with the urban poor and unemployment, and problems with the legal system like racial profiling and sentencing practices. decriminalize marijuana and reform other drug related polices. reduce military spending and scale back the 'empire'. and other stuff.

it should be interesting.

I would think White supremacist types would not vote- at least not for mainstream candidates- because many view both parties- perhaps more especially the Republicans- as pro-Israel and White supremacists are not that.

So you are saying that 10s of millions of people, predominately White, who vote Republican are racist, but the 10s of millions who vote Democrat are not?

Once again, what Republican platform policies are racist?

As I said- I only listened to Glenn Beck on Fox and he was talking about how the government was corrupt in general, the federal reserve, negative effects of lobbying and pandering to politicians and things I saw to be relevant issues. I stopped listening when he said some off the wall bad things about Ron Paul and it angered me. However, I never heard Beck EVER say one thing remotely racist.

What do those others that you mention have as rhetoric that would make the people you mention be uncomfortable?

the republican party is made up of mostly of conservative old white people who tend to be more racist on the other hand democrats tend to embrace all races and walks of life.

Yes, I've heard some about it. My interest in Israel is basically in the way the US relationship with them might affect us. Unfortunately, a lot of their stuff seems intertwined with our government. Also, I'm not too into the UN.

Why do you think conservative old WHITE people are probable/definite racists?

First, look at the GOP Convention. It was a sea of blond. You'd have felt very much at home there.
Your anti-immigrant racist scum heroes like Tancredo... in which party are they? Right...
This nation has always had the raising and lowering of immigration numbers. Immigration is supposed to be for the benefit of the nation as a whole-- not to be used as negative manipulations for special interest groups and politicians. Wanting common sense, controlled immigration is NORMAL and being against POLICIES regarding immigration is not being anti-immigrant.

A sea of blond = White people. Whites were at least 85% of the nation for a couple of hundred years- so in either party- up until 30 years ago you would have seen mostly White people.

When I was little my mom went through a phase of listening to both conservative and liberal talk shows a lot-- and I just had the impression that the conservatives would bad mouth the liberal politicians and whatever was going on when Democrats were the majority in the Congress or a Democrat president was in office and the reverse would be the case with the liberal talk show people with Republicans.

most are. They tend to be extremely conservative and along with conservatism comes racism.Case in point the racists here on topix like to point out that blacks voted for Obama because he is black. White conservatives would not vote for Obama because he isn't white so they voted(and did)for a rich white man when clearly Obama was the best choice for all the people. I'm not saying all voted for Romney for that reason but I would say the majority of white people did.
