What's with the "so what"?..
An innocent woman might the victim of someone who values the sense of belonging to a group over a human life...it doesn't make it right nor does it validate the fact that folks are targeting a certain demographic just because some black people are chosing to shoot eachother up.

I never said it made anything right.

Is it really any worse because a Mexican gang is doing it? Are we supposed to be any angrier now? Does it deserve more attention? I've heard rap songs written and performed by brothers mentioning worse things being done to black women. I've heard people on the street saying and doing things. Why is this any worse? It's wrong, but is it really any worse? It reminds me of when white people claim how bad it is when black men get accused of rape, but after investigators dredge a lake somewhere and find 35 bodies of women murdered by a white man they go numb.

Just a thought.
