The tongue should be called "The Magic Mirror" because it reveals the great amount of toxic poison stored in the body.

One way a doctor diagnoses a person is to say, "Let me see your tongue." If the tongue is white-coated, she knows that person is in a highly toxic condition. This is one of the oldest methods of diagnosing a person's health that doctors follow.

Remember, the tongue is one end of a thirty foot tube extending from the mouth to the anus. When your tongue is coated, nature is trying to extract and eliminate the toxins buried deep inside your body. Help by brushing and cleaning your tongue daily.

You can now see by your tongue how much toxic poison is stored in your body. Your tongue's surface reveals to you the great amount of encumbrance that has been clogging up your entire body through wrong, toxic-forming foods and liquids.

That is the reason I'm not interested in the name of your physical trouble. All physical problems are due to a local clogging of the circulation, the tissues and the entire pipe and tube system. Just remember it is impossible for any kind of germ or virus to attack clean healthy tissue. They only eat decaying matter.

Dirty blood picks up infections. Clean blood is your protection against infection.

If by wrong eating you create decaying matter in your body, it's only part of nature's plan that germs will come and eat this dead substance. Germs never attack clean, toxic-free tissue or blood.

Using the information from the link above about your organs suppose you would find out that your Kidney or Bladder energy is low, you would want to strengthen the Water Element: click on the Icon for the Water Element and wait for the Food Chart for Water to appear in a separate window.
http://www.universal-tao.com/5elements/5Eleme...

From the Food Chart choose those foods that will stimulate the Water Element, ie. warming foods, or Yang Foods.
If you, however, would find out that your Kidney Energy is too strong, you would want to balance the Water Element and you would choose those foods which are cooling or Yin for that Element.

People will often tell me: "My Grandfather is 88, eats any food he wants to, and still he is living." There are a lucky few who have a stronger constitution than others. They have inherited bodies that have wide arteries and veins and have a capacity to burn poisons three times faster than the average person. But remember: When that 88-year-old was born, there were 86,000 others born that same year yet, there are very few of those 86,000 left ... not a very good percentage.

I lead a vegetarian lifestyle and it has been one of the best decisions of my life, not only do it help keep my physique looking good, it helps me keep a natural good odor. It's weird, but my body doesn't get as smelly as others. It's not an easy lifestyle to lead, especially when you're in college and on a dance program as well as do plays because life gets really busy and convenience start to become a lifestyle, my school doesn't have much for vegetarians, but I still manage. Smoothies are my best friends because it's how I stay energized during the busy school year. I also eat plenty of fruits and I love spinach for salads, smoothies, on my sandwiches and cooked with a meal, I love larabars the only vegan energy bar it's filled with nuts and dates yum. For meals I usually eat soup, beans and rice, veggie wraps, etc. I do still treat myself with Pizza and sweets, but not too often because it usually sickens me in the end. I love this lifestyle and plan to go vegan when I get out of college and make money because this lifestyle isn't cheap

When one organ is at its peak energy, the organ at the opposite side of the clock, 12 hours away, is at its lowest ebb. For example, between 1-3 a.m., the liver reaches its peak, doing its work to cleanse the blood, while the small intestine, the organ responsible for the absorption and assimilation of many key nutrients, is at its ebb. What does this tell us? Principally, that it must be taxing to the system to deal with late night meals and snacking

Lungs: With the lungs at their peak energy in the early morning, you might want to schedule aerobic exercise at this time rather than later in the day. And, if you must speak through the long work day, presentations given earlier in the day benefit from greater lung energy. Laryngitis can set in late afternoon when lung energy is depleted .
Large Intestine: To get the day off to a good start, give yourself enough time early in the morning to honor the normal elimination function of the large intestine.
Stomach/Pancreas/Small Intestine: Try to eat heavier meals early in the day—at breakfast when the stomach is at its peak, and at lunch, to catch Qi’s expanding/warming energy as it crests at midday. Eating larger meals of the day early delivers nourishment to the small intestine when it is strongest, which aids absorption and assimilation.
Kidneys: The kidneys are aligned with the adrenals, the glands that produce cortisol to help us spring out of bed in the morning. Early morning, from 5 a.m.-7 a.m., is when kidney energy is weakest—a reason that people with depleted kidney energy often have trouble waking up to a new day.
Liver: The liver stores and cleanses the blood, a fact that becomes more interesting as we consider personal experience. Have you ever partied too much in the evening, and awakened in the wee hours of the morning feeling “off” and unable to fall back to sleep? Chances are good that you were tossing and turning between the hours of 1 a.m. and 3 a.m. when your alcohol over-loaded liver was struggling to do its work. The timing of the liver’s peak activity also speaks to consuming the last meal of the day as early as possible.

These are the "healing hours" according to ancient chinese medicine teachings. In Chinese acupuncture, it is taught that the time in which the symptoms of an illness begins will tell the organ origin of that illness.

If you already have a weakness or illness involving a specific organ, it is important that you rest during the “illness hour.”

The times are given for Standard Time. Subtract one hour from Daylight saving time.

7 – 9 a.m. Stomach (this is the best time to eat breakfast)

9 – 11 a.m. Spleen

11 a.m.– 1 p.m. Heart

1 – 3 p.m. Bladder

5 – 7 p.m. Kidney (do not drink alcohol at this time)

7 – 9 p.m. Circulation/Sex (paracardium/social and sex instincts). So-called female Problems often begin at this time.

9 – 11 p.m. Triple heater (body metabolism, thyroid and other endocrines) According to accupuncture teachings, people who have intimacy difficulties have Triple heater problems.

11 p.m.– 1 a.m. Gall Bladder (people who have problems making decisions or people who are experiencing creativity blocks should get to bed before this time).

1 – 3 a.m. Liver

3 – 5 a.m. Lungs

5 – 7 a.m. Colon (if you are having problems with constipation, go to the bathroom at this time)

Master Fard Muhammad emphasized fasting, vegetarianism, organic foods and proper breathing long before America grew fascinated with yoga. He taught that walking was the best exercise and that physical longevity could go beyond 70 to 120 and even 200 healthy years. One reason why the Messenger and so many divine teachers urged us to be vegetarians is because meat rotting inside our digestive system gives bestial, violent, animalistic instructions to Ra(you).

Medical studies prove that a vegetarian diet is easier to digest, provides a wider ranger of nutrients and imposes fewer burdens and impurities on the body. Vegetarians are less susceptible to all the major diseases that afflict contemporary humanity, and thus live longer, healthier, more productive lives. They have fewer physical complaints, less frequent visits to the doctor, fewer dental problems and smaller medical bills. Their immune system is stronger, their bodies are purer, more refined and skin more beautifull.

The Spiritual Reason

Food is the source of the body's chemistry, and what we ingest affects our consciousness, emotions and experiential patterns. If one wants to live in higher consciousness, in peace and happiness and love for all creatures, then he cannot eat meat, fish, shellfish, fowl or eggs. By ingesting the grosser chemistries of animal foods, one introduces into the body and mind anger, jealousy, anxiety, suspicion and a terrible fear of death, all of which are locked into the the flesh of the butchered creatures. For these reasons, vegetarians live in higher consciousness and meat-eaters abide in lower consciousness.
