The police Chief and the initial white elite didn't want any trial at first but have forced by public opinion and the parents' campaign to go to that.
The true question is : is a fair trial possible in this region with the heavy pro-white redneck pressure ?

A much more fair trial than he would have gotten from the panthers that wanted him dead without any facts whatsoever.

WRONG!!!
Anyone can be suspicious of someone they do not know within their gated community, I am, regardless of skin color.
Being suspicious and chasing after someone is too different things. Zimmerman was told by the watch not to follow after people, to avoid situations like this.

The map CLEARLY shows that Martin back-tracked to confront Zimmerman at the "T", there is no way if Zimmerman went across the top of the "T" that Martin would not have already been home. We know that Zimmerman had lost sight of Martin, so how can he have followed him?
The map doesn't say nothing save where the houses and streets were located. It doesn't tell us whether or not Trayvon continued to run, walk, or stopped. It doesn't say if Zimmerman did the either. Zimmerman could have easily regained sight of Tray by walking or running behind the buildings.

So you think a guy in the pouring rain would stand there and shout out to someone running a question? Get out of here. Fact is, he say him running and lost sight of him, are you saying he should just go round the neighborhood shouting out his question and hope, somewhere Martin hears him?
What does the pouring rain have to do with anything? He could have called out to Tray when he saw that he started to run. That is what any reasonable person would have done if they have a legitimate reason to follow someone. If for example, I saw a girl who dropped her wallet and I went to follow her and she became afraid, I would tell her that I am trying to reach her so that I could return here wallet. Zimmerman did not shout at Trayvon, instead he ran after him.

Nope, all the evidence I have seen so far shows that Martin doubled back and confronted and sucker punched Zimmerman, a shorter man, who he thought would be eay meat.
He was wrong.
It is hard to take your post seriously because you play the role of a witness, which you are not. There is no evidence of who tried to attack who first. Unless there is a witness to the initial confrontation, there is no evidence that could say that Tray sucker punched Zimmerman.
By the way Zimmerman was easy, that is why he had to use his gun.

That doesn't prove who started it.
But it does provide evidence that lends support to the self-defense claim when the gun was fired.

Then again Tray might have been defending himself and temporarily got the upper hand. Whatever happened is for the court to determine and jumping the gun is ufair.

We the general public after viewing the evidence from the tape to the police dispatcher find motive, THEY ALWAYS GET AWAY WITH IT. Opportunity. Trayvon was found dead shortly after the call. Zimmerman admit he did it in self defense. No weapons were found on Trayvon. Only a drink and candy. Without a eye witness and he was told to stand down, his word without a witness is not sound enough. He and his wife try to deceive the court about how much money they had. He is guilty of second degree of murder so say public opinion. Now we will wait for the real trial where it counts.

That might be a motive for a murder-inclined mind.
For a normal person that's just an observation based on experience.

Even an observer should be able to use common sense. the tape was in his own voice. He was the one who called the police to inform them about a person he assume was up to no good. it was him who said they always get away with it. It was him who said he was following him. It was the police dispatcher who told him to stand down. A few minutes after the call to the police, shots were heard. Someone said they saw a struggle but did not know who started it. We only have Zimmerman's word he killed Trayvon in self defense an unarmed teen. Zimmerman did not stand down and we have a dead teen that was armed with a drink and candy. Common sense say that when people do wrong they lie to get out of it.

In a court of law, all those facts you mentioned aren't considered as irrefutable evidence of premeditated intent to commit murder.

LOL!!!!!! I know. if he intended to kill him, then why would he call the cops? But they refuse to accept that logic.

In a court of law this is evidence. He admitted to following him and also killing him. These two facts are irrefutable. His claim is that he done it in self defense using SYG as a defense. The motive is clear why he was following him in the first place. He thought he was up to something. Those were his words. He said he was following him. That was his words. The dispatcher told him he did not need to do that. When the police got there, He already killed Trayvon. It was Zimmerman who said Trayvon attack him. We do not have Trayvon`s version. You assume Trayvon put down his candy and and drink to attack Zimmerman. Since a jury was not on the scene, they have to weigh all the evidence related to this case. The Police tapes, the 911 call and the time line. The special prosecutor would not have file changes of 2d degree murder if she could not prove guilt. It was public pressure for them to look into this case since the local law enforcement failed in doing their job. To dismiss a murder on the words of the murderer did not make since in the first place. He should have change with a crime and let the court make a judgement if he could use SYG. Now us armchair lawyers and jury have the case.

Well OhReally, that matter has already been settled. AMNESTY INTERNATIONAL and numerous other human rights and groups of scholars have noted WHO the pigs go after and why. It's call RACISM, however much you racists hate to hear this.
In short, cops would be coming for me with motivations akin to those for which cops in 1930s Germany would be looking for Jews and Gypsies.
