The Mediterranean surrounds different countries and even continents, so that isn't saying a lot. When someone is Swedish, they will usually just say they are Swedish, not call themselves Scandinavian or Nordic. You never specify, but being Mediterranean, does not mean you can't be white. My husband is French and grew up on the Riveria in Antibes, which is also a part of the Mediterranean, and he has sandy blonde hair and deep blue eye, he gets an amazing tan, but he is still white. I'm Russian which is technically a part of Central Asia, but I am White, not Asian. I just notice you like to hint that anyone from the Mediterranean is excluded from being white, and it is not always true. Sorry.

okay,,alot of people seem to be lost on here,,in the uk,people refer to greek maltese spanish italian etc etc as mediterranean..im from the uk,that is how people have always refered to me,,if you look at certain threads to do with med people you will see alot of uk people calling greek spnish etc "mediterrean"thats just how it is over here.most med people in the uk greek turkish and maltese etc do not look like white british people ..that is why they seem to refer to us meds as that..and actually im only half med my dad is middle eastern,hope that answers your question..btw natasha is my name to.(:

btw ..in the uk med people are like the latina/hispanic people in america,that is how alot of british people see meditteranean people..probably because most are olive skinned dark hair eyes differant features etc..
