A 24-year-old US woman accused of pretending to be a teenage boy to seduce and have sex with a 15- year-old girl has been arrested. Massachussetts woman Carissa Hads allegedly claimed to be a 17-year-old boy called James Puryear Wilson after meeting the girl online, the Smoking Gun reports. Hads allegedly claimed “James” was a youth pastor and father of twins on the fake MySpace and Facebook profiles she used to initiate a romance with the girl. She allegedly sent two mobile phones and a Kindle Fire tablet to the girl, who lived in the state of West Virginia. The teenager told police that she never saw Hads naked and the 158cm-tall woman wore a back-brace to cover her chest and a fake penis. After communicating online and via text message for 14 months, the girl’s mother arranged for the pair to meet at a motel in Pennsylvania, nearly 200km away from her home. When the two had sex two months later, Hads “pulled his ‘penis’ through his unzipped pants, and held on to the base of the ‘penis’ during the sexual encounter,” an affidavit read. Hads was arrested on accusations of coercion or enticement of a minor and denied bail amid concerns she was a flight risk and danger to the community.”
