I was too young so i didnt remember seeing Todd Christensen(R.I.P) play in real life, but i remember playing that old Nintendo game "Tecmo Bowl".That was like one of the first popular football video games.A classic. Some of Yall might remember that game. I know you do Black Facts. I used to play with the Raiders sometimes(if it wasnt my Bears with walter payton),they had Bo Jackson,Marcus Allen, and i remember scoring touchdowns with T.Christensen(R.I.P). From watching the high lights on youtube,he looked like a beast on the field as he was in the game.
Tecmo was the shizznit...lol. Playstation and Xbox wasn't even heard of at that time. The Raiders had the best overall team on that game. Eric Dickerson, Walter Payton, Randall Cunningham and Jerry Rice were beasts. Memories like a mofo..lol.

Todd Christensen had to be one of the best tight ends I've ever seen, real talk. I played the position throughout Pee-Wee, school and semi-pro so I know. Dave Casper, who played before Christensen was thorough too.

Dave Casper, Todd Christensen, Brett Clark, Antonio Gates, Ozzie Newsome, Tony Gonzalez, Jason Witten and Mark Bavarro were some of the best ever tight ends. I might've left out one or two.

<quoted text> Yep.I think Nick Saban chose a bad situation when he went to a sorry Dolphins team, that lacked leadership at the top/management.Then Bama offered him a money contract he couldnt refuse and he was stuck having to lie to the media that he wasnt leaving Miami(remeber that whole drama?)He knows how to coach football, hes an old school guy that likes to run/pound the ball and play good defense.
Pete Carrol had to leave USC after those NCAA investigation recruiting scandals and allegation so knowing about agents paying players like Reggie Bush and Leinart when they where n college. The NFL was a smooth getaway, and he made a good transition. The sea hawks are a team to watch for sure.
Yeah bruh, Pete Carroll got caught up in some shyt but he bounced before shyt hit the fan, and was a smart move. I really like ol boy.

With Saban, he's more like a father figure to his athletes than a head coach. His jellin' with his players is like one of a kind. When he got to the NFL, he knew instantly that the pro ranks wasn't for him. Bill Parcells was the Director of Football Operations for the Dolphins at that time. People wanted to see that work out and that was the last time the NFL has had him. Saban is a GIFT in the collegiate ranks.

For real.Back then it was either Nintendo or Sega genesis.Tecmo bowl was the game cuz.The 49ers where fire too on that game. The Bears where good too, with Peyton,Singletary and that stingy defense. The Giants had Lawrence Taylor ,remember he was the only mofo that could really block field goals,he was that fast.lol.Mark Bavaro was on that sh1t too, and Eric Metcalf for the Browns. All the old heads was on that game. Yeah those tight ends you listed are on the A-1 list for all-time Tight ends.Kellen Winslow for the chargers, one of the first pass/catch tight ends. I never got to see ex Bears coach Mike Ditka play, but some list him as a top Ten tight end of all time.Shanon Sharpe put up good numbers too.Heath Miller for the Ravens raw too.

After I hit that damn ''post comment'' shyt, I knew that I had forgotten my boy Kellen Winslow Sr. and Shannon Sharpe. Todd Heap for the Ravens may be headed to the Hall of Fame sometime down the line. He use to crush the Steelers everytime they'd played. Mike Ditka (Pittsburgh area product, from the same hood as Dorsett, Ty Law and Darrelle Revis) was a little before my time was also a beast from what I've seen on films over the years. He played for your Bears and my Cowboys and heard that he was a beast to tackle.

That Tecmo Bowl shyt was addicting like a mofo then. Be up all night and day fckin' with that game. I wish I still had those old skool game consoles and the games too cause they want loot for them. L.T. was probably the fastest defensive player to the QB on those games. Herschel Walker ran over everybody. Memories like a mofo, lol.

That was a much needed win for your G-Men, even though it wasn't pretty. The defense finally came through for them.
I'll tell you what cuteness, my Cowboys had taken an asswhooping like I've NEVER seen from anybody, ever. That's why I didn't brag, boast or shittalk before that matchup cause I knew we didn't have an answer for a red hot Saints squad. Allowing 40 first downs means that our defense is softer than marshmallow fluff. Can't stop a damn thang. Just a little into the third quarter, I had turned off that game and went back to my designs.
Anyways, we got the bye week and need to get it together defensively cause we cannot let our possible playoff hopes slip away. Philly has tied us in the division and your Giants are right behind us so we MUST defeat you come the 24th. I think it's very possible ;)
Well hello my friend.... I can relate about not talking trash. As much as I would have loved to do that this season, the Giants' performance has been humbling at best.

I won't even be bold with any predictions but am looking forward to the Cowboys matchup.

You mentioned designs. What kind of designing? Please let me know if I'm being too nosey.

Looking forward to the 24th...I may muster up some courage to taunt you beforehand lol...

Ben Coates for the Patriots in the 90s was also a good tight end.

Yep.The computor used to cheat like hell in that game.lol.If you played the Giants and it came down to a field goal, you knew he was gonna black your field goal.Dan Marino might light you ass up in that game. With them two hall of fame receivers on that team,Mark Clayton and Duper.Bo used to have defenders bounce off him.Him and Barry sanders in that game where unstoppable.

A classic
