LMAO!!! Cosign. African-Americans out do Africans and other blacks in every respect: academics, entertainment, the sciences, economics, technology, athletics etc.
But the Black immigrants who are mostly Africans out perform AfroAmericans in colleges. Even the refugee groups out perform AA's in major cities like Seattle. Most of these people's first
language isn't even English.

I'm reading Bakari's reply to you and he is just too intelligent for you. lol.
He is right, no other group of people brag about being entertainers for White people. It's good AfroAmericans are good at singing and dancing, but no point bragging about it.
Bakari Neferu has never said anything intelligent in his life, DISASTER LOOMS has owned him on this thread. You fail to realize that becoming a professional athlete or entertainer is far more difficult than becoming a physician or engineer. There're hundreds of thousands of physicians and engineers and only a few hundred athletes and entertainers. It takes a truely gifted individual to earn millions from dancing and singing or putting a ball through a hoop.

There's no evidence of that and it wouldn't make a difference anyway. Haven't we already been over this before?

Bakari guy clearly is too intelligent for you guys. I enjoyed reading his posts.

Please stop trying to compare throwing a ball into a basket or rapping about btches and drugs to being a physician or engineer. Physicians and Engineers actually do something to benefit humanity.

Do you really believe that becoming an athlete is harder than being a doctor or another type of professional?

If those people were so smart then africa would be in a lot better shape. We would all be trying to go there, instead of them coming here.

Afro Latinos has Alex Rodriguez, Miguel tejada, David Ortiz, manny Ramirez, Albert pujols, Ronaldo, ronaldhono, Roberto Carlos.
Africans has didier drogba, abedi pele, George Weah, Samuel eto, Michael Essien, Miguel obi, yaya traure and do much more.

Check America television most of mixed people that you think are aas are in fact african and carribean descents. You can't be serious.

Don't feel like researching all the African scientist. So I will just post some links.

I know so and you should too. It's common sense that the openings for professional athletes are very limited while opportunities in the medical field are endless. For example there's only enough room for 360 players in the N.B.A. while there're 661,400 physicians in America and counting.

Only fools that don't understand africa situation will make stupid statement such as that. Africa problem is because they lack incapable citizens or people don't want to learn.

We were talking about humanity as a whole. You do know there is a whole larger world outside the Americas. What did slavery in the Americas do for the East, Muslim World, Russia etc?
What did any of those people do for Amerindians during the same time period?
Bigsmoke wrote:
I said it is the equivalent not the same. Learn the difference.
The treatment of, use and desire for human slaves was neither the equivalent or the same as the treatment of, use and desire for domesticated animals. If it was, domesticated animals would have been used in place of humans.

Read a book, then YOU learn the difference.
Bigsmoke wrote:

Yes and it is that owner who creates the work while the slave provides the labour.
It is the owner that assigns a task and the laborer who performs that task, with the laborer doing most if not all the actual work and building. This would have especially been the case where Africans were assigned tasked that slavers would have been incompetent at doing, like various agricultural tasks, and in the case of South America, searching for mineral deposits, as Africans had already had previous experience in this arena and their skills here, too, were much needed.
Bigsmoke wrote:
I clearly said they contributed:
''Their greatest contribution to humanity has been being slaves who contributed to the development of the modern world through slave labour in the Americas.''
But it's simply nothing compared to other groups contribution.
Well then do me the favor of explaining to me how Blacks have contributed nothing to the development of "humanity as a whole" in comparison with "other groups" such as Cambodians, Pakistani, Japanese, Indonesians, Russians, Filipinos, Kazakhstani, Ukrainians, Norwegians, Vietnamese, Polish, Amerindians, Malaysians, Burmese, and Algerians.

What are the effects of each of these "other groups'" contributions to the development of the rest of humanity that completely dwarf the effects of Black contributions?
Bigsmoke wrote:
This is really trivial. No non west African economies relied on gold imports from them so why you bring this up is beyond me.
West Africa was a much desired asset to the Islam World's economy, which is why West Africans got so rich.

Exactly, trying to brag on what you can do in someone elses country doesn't speak very highly of the group you belong to.
