I've been working out and taking good care of my body for the longest time, but since my college courses are getting more challenging, I haven't been exercising like I really want to. However, I just tried this new work out video called "insanity" it will change your body moderately each time you try it.

All of you that work out...

What are your favorite workout sequences or videos? What is your goal and his do feel after you exercise?:)

Insanity is too intense for me... I'm sorta of a lazy work-outer..meaning I'm no lover of exercising..each time I need a little push to get started, but I feel great after... I normally workout 3-5 times a week..My latest favorite is Zumba classes..
My fitness goal is to stay in shape (toned, weight control, look great:) and remain healthy..

I'm so proud of you, girl. And Zumba is pretty cool. I remember when we would do it with our aunt. Sexy dancing and everything! Hmmm, maybe you can find ways to love exercising more unless you are content with your work outs. And yes, insanity is....whoooooo!!!!! When they mean insanity, they mean....INSANITY! Have you noticed on the video, almost have of the people don't finish the workout? Lol.:)

I'm more proud of you..that you can do insanity.. I tried it once..and I was like nah LOL
But I may need to up my game..and get back with it..
Were you able to finish it?
What are your fitness goals?
I'm content with my workouts, but I do need to learn how to love exercising (You have any suggestions?) because it's a push for me to do them each time..which is crazy...It's always better to love working out...that type of motivation keeps one in a lifetime of staying fit & healthy..

Thank you! I always see such negativity on this forum when there doesn't have to be. Plus, I want to talk about something...constructive. All this black ppl are this, black ppl are that can get boring.

If you want to exterminate trolls, talk about some constructive and fun!

Well thank you, blushing* lol. And no, I wasn't able to finish the whole workout, lol. I still need to work on my body more, but I'm glad I in a way, finished it. And you should be proud that you did even a little bit. If insanity is too challenging, try doing it in small mode rations each day. Day 1, 15 minutes, day 2: 20, after you've mastered that, try 30 minutes and after that, try competing it. Plus jogging helps you prepare your body for that kind of working out. I hope that helps

And I would have to say, if you want to try to love working out more, it has to do with how you think.

Think about the end results, think about you with a beautiful and idolized body. Think about how you will standout. Think about how you will be able to eat a hamburger (your favorite food, I remember!^_^) think about you will exceed the expectations of those who bad mouth us black women. Working out feels good when you think about how your life will change positively. Don't think of working out as a obligation.

Another thing that can help is by smiling while working out, classical conditioning at best!

Your solution, it's all about how you think. ;) you are doing a great job though. And keep up the good work, you will feel sooooooo good.

Jogging is like the worse for me (I don't know why)..but this spring/summer..I'm going to try and up my game in the workout area...Zumba is fun, but I want something more challenging like Insanity...so I'll take those baby steps until I can master it...

Awwww shucks, lol you're too kind. Maybe i will be one, but let me get a ph.d for psychology first. I also want to minor in physical fitness!!!!!! And yes, I remember that about you because I'm a sucker for a nice Carl's Jr bacon, BBQ, and union rings burger....oh I'm drooling now....lol. And trust me, it will work. I use to be just like you, until I thought more about my long term goals and the delicious taste of victory with a side of fries at the end. Of course, your journey won't end, but it will be a lot simpler, positive, and confident.

And you know, it's weird to say, but negative comments make me want to work out more.

The "all black women are fat" and "black women have a unwillingness to work out" remarks push me, and I love it. Weird huh? Lol.

Oh! And I forgot to tell you my goal. My goal is to get abs!!!!!! Nice, firm, lumpy abs, lol.

Well, that's a new way to work out. Does it tighten your arms and shoulders as well?

Thanks, lol. As long as you apply your time to it everyday, no matter if it's 10 minutes or 15 your body will change as well. I'm so proud of you and I hope your body is altering the way you want it to.
the only issue about eating healthy in America is that there are so little healthy choices. If the things they say that are healthy are not. America needs to change their eating habits and provide wider healthy eating restaurants. I was planning on having a petition to promote healthier food stands at my job.

My "temporary" goal is toning..and long term is to make working out a lifestyle choice..to start to love it..to maintain physical fitness and to be healthy...
Do you like any Youtube workout videos? There are a few I use for my home routine..

Wow, that really sets you apart from most other negroes who simply smoke crack to " feel awesome". It shows that you have a moral compass and ambition. Nice going.
