Hi East African Beauty.
I'm Photopolitan, a Nubian and from London also!
You are not only Beautifull, but you also have brains!
You are totally correct in what you have said.
Slim noses and lips and not features of white or arab, they are natural African features!
And by the way, being a Graduate of Photography, I'm seeking African Beauties, like you!
My email adress is: p.pappa37@yahoo.co.uk.
Examples of my work, can be found at:WWW. PHOTOBUCKET.COM
Search for: photopolitan.
Take care

It's very confusing. Basically everyone stares at her when she comes into the grocery store I work in. No one understands this, could she have one white parent and took their facial features, and took her black parents complexion?
Someone please explain
I have long narrow nose and thin lips/sort of full, that's about it. Check me out http://www.myspace.com/nakitabenjamin/photos

You tell me if this is what you call white feature.

Growing up, black people use to tease and pick on me for having a long thin nose. They would compare it to a white men's nose which really hurt my feelings in the past. My skin tone is coco/caramel skin complexion. I just happen to have caucasian features. Since I went natural two years ago, I have kinky/tightly coiled hair. When I use to relax my hair, my hair use to be long. I use to get slack for wearing a weave which I never whore a weave before. But anyways, the only reason black women have caucasian features is because they have white ancestry, east indian ancestry, asian ancestry, or native american ancestry. I have white ancestry, but I don't tell black people that because some already seem to be races enough. My great grandma is Caucasian with natural blue eyes/blonde hair. I look just like my great grandma, that is where I got my features from. My grandpa also looks like me, he's half white/half black with green eyes/hazel eyes. My dad is 25 percent black and has my lips and somewhat my nose because my dad's nose is narrow and long, but just has a broad nostril. My dad's skin complexion is dark caramel. I have a coco skin complexion. That is why my features look the way they look is because of my white ancestry. It's called "GENETIC MAKEUP." From generation to generation, they past on their features to their children and so on.

thats EXACTLY what i say ALL THE TIME, when i see other people with one so called " black " parent and one white, they always want to say they're " bi-racial " and they want to separate themselves from other black americans, i've posted the same video on this forum LOTS of times and i almost never get replies from it, i guess people are so shocked by the truth that they cant even reply to us, the simple fact of the matter is the " black " american race is a mixed race group, it dosent matter how dark you are, if you black american then your MIXED

I often hate my reflection. Yes I'm black. I'm not mixed with anything. But I don't hate that I'm full black, I hate that I don't look it. My skin color is verrrry light and my eyes are light brown. I have no figure. I have light brown hair and I usually always straighten it. My nose is ( is like a white womans) and I have thin lips? Which I hate. And every boyfriend that I've had thought I was white! I was so pissed off. My friends don't even believe me when I tell them in black. They think I'm mixed er something but I'm not. Not even 1% mixed. I hate it cuz I wish I had chocolate skin and full lips and curves, just like my friends. I want their boobs and butt and lips and tone, and AGHHH!! I don't wanna look white! I was wondering if there wuz ne one out there with my same situation:( it would b nice to know I'm not alone..

As a pure-bred African(100%), my roots lie within the very centre of Africa. I'm here to tell you that African features vary greatly, almost all features are found from 'European' to 'Asian' as well. Although in the U.S.,sorry to say this about White Americans but they're so ignorant. Most African-Americans Afro descendants came from West Africa, therefore the thick-lipped and broad nose is quite dominant in those respective areas. However that should not sum all facial features found among all Black people! O.K.!

Well I can get the narrow nose, and light eyes,as a white person's feature. But the high cheekbones that you attribute to being a white feature,I don't get.I always thought high cheekbones was a facial feature typical of black people and Asian people, not that of white folks.

You know what? I don't even believe you. No person who looks like you physically describe yourself, would deny that they are at least mixed with some white admixture. You are probably one of these blacks on here who is predominantly of black decent, and who likes to say that a person can look mixed with white features, and still be 100 percent black.Com e on now.

Agree.Virtually all African Americans have a white or other race, maybe Indian, back in their ancestry,no matter how dark they are.Simply because many blacks if they themselves were totally black, they end up marrying and having kids with a black who's mixed with some white,so that the kids of this all black person ends up with a little white in them still, and so will all future generations..So the white gene gets recircled throughout the black community all the time.
The distinction between being considered a mixed,or biracial black,as opposed to being considered all black by U.S. standards, depends upon the percent of black ancestry, and white or other race ancestry that's in one's ancestry. The U.S.considers most African Americans to be of predominantly black ancestry, and considers only a small percentage of African Americans to be biracial,or significantly mixed with another race besides black. Albeit though the U.S. does recognize that most African Americans have a small percent of white of Indian in their ancestry.

No one will ever know what race she is I get asked the same question and I'm quick to say I'm black I have all the same features of the girl your talking about except with amber eyes ...it irritates me when people ask my race so I sit and try to guess other people's until it gets pulled up in a conversation ...maybe you should just ask the girl at least then you will know
