I understand. In my city I meet many West Africans on a daily basis. They are the most loving community oriented people that Ive ever seen. They are also very successful in my city...many blessings to them. What part of West Africa are you from?

Its truly a blessing to be around them...to be invited to their homes and to share dinner...

They do believe in preserving their traditions and culture but at the same time they do not project hate to others.

Did you check out this blog? I thought I would NEVER in a million years find a blog about a Black American woman living in Saudi Arabia. Her husband (who is white) works for Aramco and they moved to I believe in 2008.

I just started reading her blog today and its very interesting so far. I love her refreshing perspective as she doesnt have a lot of experience (unlike me) with Arab culture so it will be interesting to hear her views.

She has a very outspoken personality...reminds me of Wendy Williams so I hope she continues to blog for years to come

i dis agree with almost everything u are saying first i want to clearfiy i am somalian muslimah and i am wearing jilbaab not coz family or parents forced me but coz its a form of worship and i am obbaying allah by wearing it and that makes me honered and proud
