This statement is racist. You just put all Mexicans into the same group as illegal aliens. What’s worse is that you are unaware that it is racist. There are many professional Mexican Americans that are working at high levels in both government and Corporate America. Your statement is one that is both insensitive and disturbing, and it is the exact same thing that racist whites do to black people all the time.

Harrison I’m surprised that you would co-sign such a racist statement! All Mexicans are not illegal and are not doing jobs that we don’t want to do, and the empire was here before they even came, so what empire are they building. If we are talking about illegal aliens there is no empire there. They are taking more out of social benefits than they are putting in, and the majority of illegal aliens are NOT Mexicans!

The original poster simply said "Mexicans," without specifying illegal or legal resident aliens or native-born American citizens who are the sons & daughters of illegals.

I don't support illegal immigration at all. It's got to be stopped one way or another.

But it's also clear that there is a LOT of grunt work that white Americans (and to a lesser extent, blacks) won't do at the price employers want to pay. Is this fair?

Where I live, minimum wage is $7.62/hr or so. That means that NO American citizen who can get a job at Burger King (with nice free or discounted meals, air-conditioning, no heavy lifting, steady wages) is gonna bust his/her azz out in the fields picking apples or asparagus or whatever -- unless it's maybe $9.00/hr or probably even higher. It might have to rise to $11.00 or $12.00 to get a white kid to pick apples, or maybe even higher still - I don't know exactly. But at a certain point, it becomes uneconomical to try to grow those crops here in the States and we have to rely on imports from Mexico or China where there is ZERO control over pesticide application, fertilizer usage, slave labor and so on.

We are a society that worships middle-class, white-collar status and denigrates manual labor. Therefore, American workers put a wage premium on performing backbreaking, sweat-drenched labor; Mexican immigrants with poor or no English skills at the bottom of the labor scale don't have the same options.

Those are the considerations you may be overlooking.

....I'm far from racist.....I'm not putting any one into any catigory. I simply stated how Mexican's accept job's what these sorry azz "American's" consider to be degrading. It would be easy because all their people are trying to sneak accross the border into the U.S., we could invade Mexico and have control of that country in 20 minutes.

Take their oil? What would that prove? We have weak power. True they try to sneak into the US. Could you blame them? Their living condition's are far worse than our's...As of here lately, I can't speak to soon...It may take only 20 minutes to have control of their country, but It will take only second to start another WAR!!!! Every country has an army.
