You're welcome! That's really cool you got to see her live performance. I agree with everything you said about her. Had she not died, she would've been ranked very very high, an idol, somewhat close to Mariah and the others in my personal opinion. She was great and her voice was of soultry.
Co-Sign Amelia.

<quoted text>Reggaeton and its performers are really cool. However alot is owed to Afro Panamanian El General. IMO he started it all. Cool beats and beautiful women in his videos. Viva El General!! Viva Panama!!
Most certainly. I did a thread on where reggaeton was based off of and where reggae itself came from. Yes, reggaeton is the Latin people rendition so to speak of reggae. I love both reggae and reggaeton. Daddy Yankee is certainly overrated, but Don Omar keeps it flowing with different styles and beats. I also love Ivy Queen!

lol yes Ivy Queen. That's my girl. She is crazy and keeps it very real just like Jenni Rivera RIP
Yes I agree with what you say of Don Omar. Is he still married to that sexy chick from UNivision? The weather girl. I forgot her name.

I'm assuming you're very young and I'm very old but do you actually remember El General?

Thank you so much for these links! I couldn't remember the name of that cooking technique of the meats they do, but that name came back to me now. Here the Mexican cuisine is good for the most part, but I hear the Mexicans who migrated to Chicago brought a lot of their street tacos/authenticity to their foods and that was absolutely amazing. I can't wait to go back to Chicago (with protection of course). I have some family there and in the suburbs of Chitown. Very interesting on where Shakira learned how to belly dance from. I'd love to see more Arabic music from her.

Shakira is sexy either way but I liked her better when she had black hair. She also was a bit thicker when she was younger.

I've never heard of El General before. Is this a reggaeton artist? Regarding Don Omar, I believe he may still be married to that chick. She's pretty. I think he's sexy as hell.

Yes El General's definitely before your time. He goes way back to the early 90's. He is Afro Panamanian and got that name because he used to dress in a White Military Officer's uniform. His tunes always had a wicked beat to them similar to Reggaeton and very much like Rap and Reggaeton he always had hot chicks of all races in his videos. You could probably find some of his videos on YouTube.

This is a stretch being that the black community has already claimed her proudly lol, but below....

And yes, this ^^^ talented beautiful artist is Mariah Carey. An idol in the music world. She has been listed in this thread amongst Latin artists because her father is Afro-Venezuelan (South American/black Latino) while her mother is Irish. The woman has a beautiful voice and very clean.

Used to be one of my ^^^ favorite songs by her. I'd practice singing it but of course NO ONE can pull off Mariah's awesome voice and tone!

Thanks for the Iris link. Yeah Shakira and my baby Jessica Alba look way better with a few pounds. Jessica was perfect in Deep Blue and Dark Angel by the time she starred in Machete she was beginning to thin down. They're still sexy though that's a given.
