Mixe-Zoquean languages are still spoken. Archaeologists disagree with the linguists, and think that the Olmec language was Mayan, based on the PROVEN common origin of Olmecs and Maya in Soconusco, and the likelihood that the calendar was devised in Soconusco by common ancestors of both groups, before the Olmecs had migrated to the Gulf coast region.
1. art and other material culture of Olmecs traced by archaeologists to Soconusco
2. Olmec art clearly showing Native Americans
3. no African DNA
4. no African physical remains
5. no African cultural artifacts
6. no boats resembling anything in Africa
7. no immunity to Old World diseases
Your little fantasy of black Olmecs has NOTHING to back it up but the desires of self-hating black people with no self-esteem. That makes it only ludicrous, but it becomes a crime against Native American people when you are claiming THEIR original civilization in N America, as if they didn't create this, but apparently sat around picking their butts until Africans showed up. BULLCRAP!!!
GET your greasy grubby Afronazi paws off other peoples' heritage!!!
You idiot...the Olmecs didn't speak a "mayan language". Olmecs were b4 Mayans. Coe really doesn't know where the Olmecs originated. In that tourist article he never explains the stone heads. You need to stop with this crap about black PPL. doing "genocide" on others.

Your PPL. are the ones who are guilty of this. And that's WHY we now have Native Amer. reservations. That's all that's left after what YOUR PPL. did to them. Learn to tell the truth boy....cause I'll be there to make sure you do.

Wrong, buttsludge.
Eurasians were the base population of the Maghreb, not all of Africa.
You're insane if you think anyone will believe your crap when the evidence is so abundant and clear that the Maghreb has been predominantly Eurasian for 30,000 years.
And you don't know what “Eurasia” is? LOL... how idiotic. The largest continent on earth but you've never heard of it.
Halfwit. Racist. Liar.
Why don't you keep grubby hands OFF Africa and stop placing NON-blacks as "indigenous PPL." Why are you here. The majority don't BUY anything you say ( except for 2 other trolls). UR credibility is zero in the AA forum. Yeah, I know what Europe and Asia are....and as others have shown none of those later PPL. have anything to with Africa except as invaders.

They have that right, but that's not what is being complained about, nor is it what the afrocentrists are doing.
<quoted text>
Tunisia is located on the continent of Africa, and American Diasporic descendants don't have anything to do with it either.
I'm not sure what ancient artifacts and scriptures you're referring to here, if you're talking about Egyptian stuff, then that also has nothing to do with AA's or other Diasporans.
In case you didn't notice, Egypt is on the complete opposite side of the continent that "our ancestors" really did come from.
Think about it.
I don't know WHO you are, nor do I care. If you do not know where you come from, it sounds like a personal problem that you might want to investigate on your own time. As for me and most "educated" Black folk... WE know.

Another thing that ignorant Caucasians here in America concock that makes absolutely ZERO sense is this:

If you look at a map of the African Continent you will find in the northern most portion the from left to right: Morocco, Algeria, Libya, Egypt. How these idiots tend to want to carve Egypt right out of place and make these assine claims that Egyptians are somehow "un-black" amazes me. Egypt borders Sudan to the South and Libya to the east...the north is the Mediterranean and to the west the red seas.

Now just HOW and more importantly WHY would these white folk want to remove Egypt from Africa and Why do they have such a problem with the truth about the Black man's lineage and connections with Egypt???

Could it be that it makes their false claims of "superiorty" looks even more ridiculous? After all, white culture was all borrowed from these "Black" folk ...but they don't dare teach that here now do they?

One, Northeast Africa doesn't equal Egypt, two, there is no evidence that I have seen that Fulani or Tuaregs descend from or where profoundly influenced in any way by Egyptians from Ancient times.
Tuaregs share some genetic affinity with Bejas, which are most associated with Sudan than Egypt, and in the case of Fulani, they are most closely related to other West Africans, as expected.
"While some have speculated over the origin of Fulani people, current linguistic and genetic evidence suggests an indigenous West African origin among the Peul. The vast majority of genetic lineages associated with them reflect those most commonly seen in other West Africans. Their language is also of West African origin, most closely related to that of the Wolof and Serer ethnic groups. Historical and archaeological records indicate that Peul-speakers have resided in western Africa since at least the 5th century A.D. as well. Interestingly, rock paintings in the Tassili-n-Ajjer suggests the presence of proto-Fulani cultural traits in the region by at least the fourth millennium B.C. Scholars specializing in Fulani culture believe that some of the imagery depicts rituals that are still practiced by contemporary Fulani people."

You have no real argument. You still haven't provided me with any evidence except your source off the internet. I think you're bored because you obviously don't know what you're talking about.

Africa has tons of resources. So I guess if one can LIE about who has Qoute indigenous Un-Qoute claims to various parts of Africa...those are the ones who get the resources. IMO...it's about geographically slicing & dicing Africa up.

Also, linguistics is considered a "soft science". Softer no doubt than anthropology and archeology, which are my main points of reference concerning the origins of people, as it is more reliable.
Since you can't support a Native American origin of Olmecs from their own language, you wanna downplay it's importance, lol

Oh absolutely.....all they do is say no,no.no to everything without having any regard to all evidence or countering evidence. They all take the "my way way or the highway" attitude toward anything or anybody who disagrees with them.

Yes I do have a real argument, unlike you and the rest of these fools. My argument is that there is no evidence of any direct contact between Ancient Egyptians and West Africans. My argument is supported by the archaeological absence of any counter argument to this claim.

And yes, I know what I'm talking about, apparently, because none of you clueless people seem to be able to discredit anything I say, even after all this time.

You guys are silly beyond reason.

Uh...yes I can, you silly fool. Haven't you been paying attention? I just showed how leading scholars/specialists believe it is proto-Mixe/Zoque based on real archaeological and epigraphical EVIDENCE that is UP TO DATE.

"Based on this dating, the architectural and archaeological patterns and the particulars of the vocabulary loaned to other Mesoamerican languages from Mixe–Zoquean, Wichmann now suggests that the Olmecs of San Lorenzo spoke proto-Mixe and the Olmecs of La Venta spoke proto-Zoque."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olmec#Ethnicity_...

You haven't even shown one scholar/specialist that thinks it came from anywhere else, let alone Africa, let alone given any type of valid evidence for any such theory.

And I'm not downplaying the importance of linguistics. I'm telling you exactly what I told you last year, in that you are attempting to focus on linguistics as a means to show their origins, even though less is known about it their language, as opposed to the archaeological and anthropological evidence, which show their origins more definitively.

In other words, Redefined, I, unlike you, actually HAVE an argument, and I have an actual reputable linguist specialist to back that argument. You have nothing except spam and drivel.

So sad.

You are a foolish person. One who spends his wheels trying to un-write historical facts and why? What is your issue with our people and origins? What is it to you that my mother is Egyptian and my Father Lybian? Why does this spark cause for debate among white people? WHY? Until you can answer this honestly, you really ought not try to convince African descendants of anything. We see right through you and your lame motives.
