C/S they never talk about the history of West Africans like they are shamed of it. I have never seen a group of people with so much self hate. Comparing WAs to HOAs that's a big joke.

Well yeah I'm sure some did. But 9th Element seems to be implying that the Hyksos sparked some kind of major diaspora upon which he can then make claims for just about any African group being of Egyptian origin.
The Dogon with their baffling astronomical knowledge are very interesting. And their cosmology is very profound. But should we rule out the possibility that they arrived at it on their own? I don't know. Apart from their reverence for Sirius and their knowledge about Sirius B, there isn't really a whole lot that connects them with Ancient Egypt to my knowledge either linguisticaly or culturally. Also there are doubts in academia about whether Marcel Griaule didn't "inadvertently" influence or misinterpret the information he initially heard from the Dogon
"Although he was an anthropologist, Griaule was keenly interested in astronomy and had studied it in Paris. As James and Thorpe point out, he took star maps along with him on his field trips as a way of prompting his informants to divulge their knowledge of the stars. Griaule himself was aware of the discovery of Sirius B and in the 1920s – before he visited the Dogon – there were also unconfirmed sightings of Sirius C.
The Dogon were well aware of the brightest star in the sky but, as Van Beek learned, they do not call it sigu tolo, as Griaule claimed, but dana tolo. To quote James and Thorpe:“As for Sirius B, only Griaule’s informants had ever heard of it.” Was Griaule told by his informants what he wanted to believe; did he misinterpret the Dogon responses to his questions? Either way, the original purity of the Dogon-Sirius story is itself a myth as it is highly likely that Griaule contaminated their knowledge with his own."
Something to think about.
Yes, the need the Hyksos dispersion myth to pretend there's a link from W Africans back to Egypt.

As for the Dogon... according to Afronazis they'd discovered planets around other stars, the moons of Saturn, etc. All based on that one star...

for us to have been enslaved just decades ago, we are doing better then any other black group on this earth. we never run from our country; we stay here and deal.

I do admit that there are those of us who go over board about Ancient Egypt but its funny how Africans seem to have no problems how "others" have gone over board (even moreso then us) with their admiration of this ancient nation also: example, the obelisk located in Washington D.C.

why can't we obsess over AE but others get a pass, Africans? is it because none of us should give a fk about what you say, don't like and have a problem with? my thinking is that you Africans are a none quotient when it comes to our business and what we admire, obsess over, etc.

for your info, there is a large community among us that recognize and even celebrate WEST AFRICA. I have been around them for over a decade now and they are mainly the reasons why and how WEST AFRICANS have their hands in AA pockets.....the popularized African fabrics, dress, jewelry, etc.. etc..

it is because of this afro-centric/conscious community that you see shea butter and blk soap in retail products from Proctor and Gamble to so many others...

we AA's popularized shea butter and blk soap and helped make them A BILLION DOLLAR INDUSTRY here in America...who is making the biggest profit from this? Africans.

ungrateful selves. we don't owe you ANYTHING.

The Dogons actually did have a very advanced knowledge of the Cosmos before the invention of the telescope.

you want me to bring you proof from white folk who also verified this Dogon accomplishment?

You are not doing better than any group on the earth. Even in your country your group is the worse . You are not the descendants of AE if that was the case so many people in Africa can claim it. Study your ancestors history so you can at least have self esteem or you beilieve WA doesn't have any history. Everyone admires them they don't claim them as their ancestors. If you were from Africa you would understand better because someone comes from Ghana doesn't mean we are related.

you the one crying about us being ashamed of Africa i just stated some facts to you: we buy African imports directly from west Africans that no one else will buy. Have you ever seen a Mexican sporting kente cloth? Do white women spend hundreds of dollars getting their braided per session at African salons? We dont have to be interested in west Africa or have anything to do with you. Like i said, we DONT OWE YOU NOTHING.

Come on Dragonpat, you can do better than this. Take your pick: 1. WE DON'T OWE YOU ANYTHING or 2. WE OWE YOU NOTHING. Avoid double negatives.

Who f*cking cares stop claiming Ancient Egyptians and East Africans they are not your ancestors . Do you think the people you buy kente cloth or own African salons are helping the WA economy. Learn about your own ancestors and Kente is from Ghana a country in West Africa. You are a clown get some selfworth. No one wants your money and no one gives a fuck about you. Why must you always mention white people what do they have to do with anything. You are descendants from people who were carried to America from WA not Egypt or East Africa. Its not about owing anyone its just about reality learn your own history.

who said anything about AE or east Africa? I don't know what is wrong with you but I will continue to clarify my point in hopes that you will "get it."

remember, you are your friends are the ones crying about how we don't care about west Africa and so forth and I am saying that there are communities among us located all across the USA who do recognize west Africas culture and acknowledge their Ancestors that came from there. they are the ones wearing dashikis, kente cloth and African inspired jewelry, etc..etc.. in for your info, I already know where kente cloth come from and I also know FOR A FACT that you west Africans DO NOT want to loose your AFRO clientele!

you are in OUR pockets. our money benefits YOU. we get NO benefit from you, your culture, your countries, etc.. etc..

we do not need your African artifacts but you have and still need us to buy them from you as the only thing anyone else might buy from you is a mask or a statue; we buy ALL this from you. to me, this does not sound like a people who do not care for Africa and Africans, even though you don't deserve our patronage.

im looking forward to more from this afrocentric and "conscious" community to find out how you Africans feel about us and how much you dislike us. more and more of us are not wanting to have anything to do with you and I have heard this sentiment many times.

Lord have mercy who is crying here no one cares about you or what you think or buy. The people who are into that business do not represent all the Africans in America. If you don't want anything to do with WAs that's your business no one cares. Stop comparing WAs to other Africans just so you can feel better about yourselves. Learn your own history and be proud of it. No one gives a damn about AAs and we don't expect you to give a damn about us simple.
