I don't have a weave.

I think you embarrass yourself always coming up in threads to defend white people and disparage other Blacks.

If Beyonce is so beautiful then why is she married to that ugly-ass old man? Surely she could better than that.

I agree when you say that black women should be natural and stop wearing other peoples hair, we do need to embrace what the good Lord gave us and keep it real! However I disagree with the types of black people that can grow long hair. The way I see it, your hair length will depend on how you take care of it and what you push in your body food wise, yes genetics can also be another factor but it doesn't totally rely on this, as you can have the big eyebrows, the baby hair around the front of your hair line, but if you eat junk foods and dont take care of your hair then it will break out anyway. I dont have big eyebrows but do have the baby hairs around my hair line and my hair is past my shoulders, it is curly, quite tight curls also. I love wearing my afro so that my hair stretches to the sun...true sun people!!

I wish black women as a group, especially AA women, wouldn't wear long fake hair that is obviously impersonating white women.
I think that if we stopped, we would get more respect.
These TV shows who have black actresses, would just have to use black women with natural hair.
These fashion shows that use black models, would just have to use black models with natural kinky hair.
There is something dehumanizing and demoralizing, that black women are the only group of women who seem unallowed to show their natural hair and need to cover it in white women's hair.
Our daughters are growing up seeing our hair always covered by fake hair, Nana Meridith's hair is LUDICROUS! and SCREAMINGLY FAKE!
I wish some bw wouldn't have oow mixed kids by wm, so fairs fair. You don't like fake s.h.i.t and some bw don't like having oow mixed kids with a runaway white daddy.

If there was no fake s.h.i.t half of these ww actresses would be out of a job, Pamela Anderson wouldn't have been so popular. Some bw don't know how to do their own hair or have patience with it, so the most fake shit is focused on their hair, many ww don't have curves so the most fake s.h.it is focused on their bodies.

Have you ever dyed you hair, maybe if you had some of that fake s.h.i.t you might still have that runaway white daddy in your arms, instead of coming here night and noon looking for interaction.

A dark skinned woman who can grow long hair will have baby hair on her hair line, she will have thick eye browns and she will have a cool brownness to her skin tone (like Somalis).
Nana aint got hose traits.
You're an idiot and definitely a white woman aziya trolling with stonedlove....

every woman's hair grows each month...blk women's hair tend to be dry and brittle if not moisturized ...

therefore breaks easier and will not see length if not taken care of...

But basically every blk women could have at the least shoulder length to longer hair.

It takes 3 years for bw to grow their hair really long, I am in year two, most of the vids on youtube I have watched and who I follow all have really long hair by year three, with a little patience often sometimes these women will use weaves as protection styles. Black hair grows.
Some of these women need to stop allowing hair to define them, hair is a white girl issue, they use it as cover because short hair on them doesn't work with many of them, they just don't have the bone structure to carry it off, sometimes imo their hair can be the prettiest thing on them.

You're a woman anyways. As a hstraight man I don't mind all that but I draw the line when it is fake body parts (eg implants).
The weave has to at least look real looking (I wont be able to tell). Fake eyelashes? LOL like I'd even know. Make up should be moderate I don't want one looking like a clown.

Snap! That is exactly what I did! You Tube was, and still is my teacher for maintaining my natural hair, this and other AA hair sites, I am in year 3 now and it is the best thing I ever did, my hair has never been this strong or long and I know it sounds weird but wearing my hair like this gives me so much more confidence than before and I feel more at peace with myself than before

This isnt true, well not in my opinion anyway. I would say that this is all about self hate, plain and simple. Weaves, relaxers, bleaching creams. The saying that black peoples hair is no good and the rest of it. Take a look at this

From the age of around 7 my mum used to relax my hair, place hair extensions in it, now if you teach your child this type of behavior from a young age then the child is more than likely going to follow this into adulthood. That with the media and the environment, how we are conditioned. It is only when I started researching my black history and opened my mind spiritually, I was able to see exactly what was going on....

And I am not talking about people that choose to do these things to themselves just for a certain look, Im talking about people that cannot leave the house without all these things, people that do not have the confidence within themselves to leave their homes without it.

I think more bw who have black kids in this day and age will make sure their black kids hair is looked after and grows well since it happens to be such a big issue now, that's it's not worth the aggro to not focus on it. Back in the day parents would result to perms if the kid wanted one but now there's a lot more advice and we've seen the consequences of what such products can do, plus you can do everything you want with natural hair that you can do with permed hair, you can straighten it etc and still have your natural strong hair in tact.

Which in a way still proves my point .....when extreme stress made my daughter and my hair just start dropping out....

I refused to put weaves, extensions on either of our heads...

My hair grew back to a little below my shoulders ...my daughters hair has had false starts but will soon be healthy and long again....

There has always been blk women who grew their own hair out and learned to take care of their natural hair.....

Those blk mothers you speak of ....tend to ignore or resent those sensible blk women...

then follow the dumbest blk women or trends, if they didn't....

weaves ESP bad weaves would have never took off amongst black women the way they did.

Well first off Miss America doesnt have to get on her knees or bend over for contracts. That might mean less money in long run but she still going to be paid for life. That fact will get her more respect with real companies so she will be lucrative add deals and probably do alot of community service type work. Beyonce will be rump a dump shaking for some negronicals drinking 40 oz oe.
