The only reason I have to not put my hands on another man is because I feel I'd be playing into the hands of whites who want me behind bars. Now that may come across as fear to you but if I'm to play this game of life I have to stop myself from saying the first thing that comes to my mind, or prevent myself from reacting to every taunt that comes from another person.

You don't know what pain and suffering went through those black families after their children were ripped from their arms. You don't even know if those that were raped had their fathers near by because I promise you families weren't kept together.

So why the dishonesty?

I as a man get upset at the thought of another man even thinking about raping my own flesh and blood. The things I could do. But a black man said to me once, what happens to your family when you are locked in jail? What does your family have to face alone when you act out your anger? How much will your wife resent you when she realizes she has to shoulder on because her husband's emotions led him to become just another statistic?
