by the way.. i misspelled words on purpose.

that's the only time any thread seems to get any attention is if it's spelled poorly or ignorant or baiting.

so before anyone said i spelled anything incorrectly.

>>please insert sarcasm here<<

however, my aforementioned query still stands.

ask me anything so we can dispel any misconceptions.

I didn't know you were a witch. That's cool. What's the difference between being a pagan\witch and what TV makes out witches to be?

the difference is largely hype vs. reality.

the last place i've travelled was to vienna and that was a year ago.

i had a trip planned to vienna and holland for my bday (march 10) but it got truncated so i decided to skip that trip because it wasn't worth it for me to fly to europe for only 3 days.

my ex boyfriend.

a different person taught me how to SCUBA and a different person taught me how to freedive.

i've been surfing for about 15 years.

it really is a way of life.

i have been freediving for about 5 years... around 60 feet is the deepest i feel most comfortable on one breath.

i can hold my breath almost 4 minutes.

4 min is my goal for this summer. i personally don't want to go beyond 60 feet on one breath.

i have been deeper but i spent no time at depth.

just go there and surface.

i got into freediving because i like to challenge myself.

i also like to question and face my fears.

i was/am afraid of water and heights so i face them by sky/free diving and bungee jumping.

after i do something i'm less afraid of it.

i'm most afraid of diving when i dive from the shore because we walk into the surf with SCUBA gear and it freaks me out when i see the continental shelf drop off.

i don't like walking from shallow to drop off.

i'd rather jump off the boat and know i'm already deep.

i'm also afraid of sharks in the surf and i freak out when i can see the shore drop off.

sorry, i was being largely sarcastic.

the difference between witches and wiccans is that wiccans believe in a 3-fold law.. meaning anything you do will and can come back to you 3-fold.

many wiccans are hmmm.. very dogmatic to say the least.

many witches or people who practice older faiths and paths don't believe in a 3 fold law (karma)..

magick is what you make of it and it is not white or black.

more of a shade of gray.

wiccans are adverse typically to casting adverse spells because they adhere to various ideologies (part of their belief system) that what you do will come back onto you.

many pagans and witches do believe that what we do will come back onto us...

we just take responsibility for our actions and our responsibility.

i hope this clarifies it more.. if not, please feel free to ask me more.

i'm an open book.

My question is: I wonder if you are my long-lost sis!!! you're too cool and so refreshing!

I love it!! Pagan witch. Sweet. I can't stand limited strict minds! LOL. Plus, of course I'm totally into Wicca and druids etc. But, I never really started practicing it but I'm into the concepts. Everytime I come across anything related to that, I'm reading it.

I don't have as much time to get into it as much as before I had cerena though. Once again, you've ultimate cool.

.
Also it's cool that you like RPG's too.(but mostly I played the TSR's D&D and stuff),

You like animae like me which is way cool.

And best of all you like the same music I like 'cause you too know that SLIPKNOT STILL RULES SUPREME!!!

If I was a guy, I'd married you LOL. It's like a one if every 3,000 black females that can would get into the same things as me. SO cool! you rock

Thanks BCM, you've given me something to think about. I didn't take your first reply as sarcastic. I know on the other thread you've been in a battle with someone over being wiccan. I think I asked about it here before you got into it on the other thread but seeing your other battle, I understood your first response. Sorry I'm rambling. H@ll, I've confused myself now. lol

hehe.. perhaps we were seperated at birth.

who knows?

but seriously, i am not wiccan. people often mistake pagan for wiccan.. that's like mistaking a catholic for another branch.

wiccans are not the same.

trust that.

i'm actually very open about my beliefs.

but i am NOT wiccan.

that is somewhat of a bone of contention with me.

Very impressive! Just don't go a try to break any records...ok?

Now I understand why one wouldn't surf at night but you should consider trying a night dive. I did a wreck dive at night and it's a trip. Don't worry about sharks-the bubbles usually drive them off (unless they are in a feeding frenzy-in which it would be wise not to interrupt). I saw a white tip shark sleeping (Yes, they do sleep and are still while sleeping) during the wreck dive. Really mad that the picture didn't come out...

Mahalo for sharing!
