What are they fighting for? I don't guess I understand. Justice for Trayvon? What could we get him on that's not double jeopardy? There's not much they can do about that. If they are ready to fight the law that says you can shoot someone after starting a fight with them. When the law protect this guy's actions after a dispatcher told him he didn't need to follow him.
No law against following any punk in your neighborhood

No law against shooting any punk that breaks your nose and is beating you

Maybe these thugs will learn to stop their animal actions

Who is outraged over this travesty??? Where is the black community's outrage over this incomprehensible crime??? Who was this man bothering, why was he singled out????

http://www.localmemphis.com/news/local/story/...

My, but Jackson and Sharpton's silence is deafening. Now if the victim were black...all you know what would break loose. Will the media even bother to cover this? Probably not. The motive? Robbery, you know, taking from those who work, because the perps find this method of getting money easier.

Why would you expect this to have attracted Jackson and/or Sharpton's attention? Was it a race hate crime? Weren't those perpetrators ARRESTED and aren't they facing indictment for murder?

Please get a grip and put this in perspective. Murders take place daily across America, and while they do cross racial lines - most crimes are same race on same race (black on black, white on white). Most victims know the perpetrator. You are more likely to be assaulted or murdered by someone you know that a stranger.

Your example has NOTHING at all to do with why Al Sharpton or Jesse Jackson got involved in the murder of an unarmed black teen. It had everything to do with two loving parents who were determined to seek justice for their son. Those parents ultimately connected with men who had audiences and media exposure. It was absolutely wrong for George Zimmerman to walk out of the police station that night as a free man under the SYG law. The jury verdict is not a vindication of George Zimmerman. It reflects the jury's decision that the prosecution failed to meet the burden of proof requirement necessary in order to overcome "reasonable doubt" and to convict Zimmerman. Some of the jurors who spoke out after the trial have also so stated.

Why shouldn't Jackson and Sharpton speak out against this???? There is black mob violence in Memphis. This is not the first time this happened, and won't be the last. Somebody needs to take a stand and try to force people to look into their hearts to see what they are oing is insanely wrong. A few days earlier, another white victim, was luckier, though she had a gun pointed to her head, they just took her money but did not kill her. Violence, black on black and black on white is too commonplace in Memphis.

"Loving parents"? If he had loving parents, this never would have happened.
If you want to know what happens when police don't hold the line, Google "Yankel Rosenbaum".

So will they also cover the killing by a white and 2 blacks of an Aussie visiting the US in Duncan, OK? Excuse, they wanted to kill him "just for fun" and were bored.

What is missing is that Mayor Dinkens told the police not to stop the rioting until after Rosenberg was killed. Lemrick Nelson was found not guilty of murder by an all black jury. Hence the Civil rights trial. Now Sharpton is calling for a civil rights trial for Zimmerman even though Rosenberg's trial was self defense.
Mayor Dinkens' order to police was i.e. Don't stand your ground. For 3 days the police did nothing.

Sharpton says"I protest when I'm called in and when there's an injustice".An injustice is a violation of another's rights or a specific unjust act.Martin Luther King said"Injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere."Chris Lane was a victim of injustice. He was murdered.Sharpton preaches"No justice,no peace".Hypocrite
