Well I IR too but black women date out for different reasons than black men do. We do it for love and companionship whereas the majority of black men date out for social reasons and because of lust. I dont think all, or most of the hired help was treated like that.

That was a very respectable position for those women to have due to the fact that back then most compaines would not hier coloreds.

So if you were a black woman you either becam a prostitute, maid, worked on the railroad, or found a sugar daddy.

I would prefer maid.

I dont know what to say about your comments because unfortunately i was not there at those times.

However, i do find the programme education in a sense whereby no matter what position you put a black women in. She is always the STRONGER person!
