LOL exactly. The reason why it seems Black people steal so much is because store representatives are mainly watching Black people...they are missing all the "other" people. I guarantee you if they were to focus on just White people for while like they do Black people, it would be very different lol. Do some Black people steal? Of course. Do some White people steal? Oh, absolutely more than some would want to believe.

I've seen how some White people do it countless times. When they see how the "clueless" store workers/clerks are watching and eying Black people like hawks, that is their Que to to go. They'll bring diaper bags in the store with no baby LOL, sometimes a stroller with NO baby in it LOL again and then they will come in with these over sized purses that look like suitcases...rotfl hard and the clueless folks on this forum and in the world ;)

This use to happen quite a bit for me. So it got to the point where when I walked into a store, I immediately announced myself to everyone. Strolled on over to a counter, got on the intercom and said as much...."I'm here, I'm black as hell, and if I see any of you store spies following me around and what not, I'm going to punch you in the face!" (you know, to give them another stereotype to worry about). "Oh, and the clerk has informed me that we need a price check on a polo shirt, and would someone shut that damn kid up! Thank you.".....and that way, their butts are thrown off their game a little.

Works like a charm.

Last time I watched the news, it was some dude name MADOFF who "made off" with more than a billion dollars of other people money in a Ponzi scheme...Unless Mr. Madoff walked out in handcuffs by authorities from a tanning salon - he was as white as the pure drive snow.

Just because the owner of the store has bothered to invest in the community, does not give him license to treat patrons like scum...If I run into a store spy matching me step for step I have a plan to keep them busy for a while as I conduct the business I originally intended.

Using your twisted logic, European Americans should be banned from the banking and finance industry. They must ALL be thieves, considering the policies and practices some have pursued in driving this country into financial ruin. And do I even need to include people like Madoff? How about companies like Enron and Arthur Anderson? How about other events that have cost the taxpayer, events like the Savings and Loan scandal?

Human nature, son, not ethnicity. People will usually take the easy way when presented with an opportunity to make money, even if that way is criminal. They don't need skin color to prompt them.

Save that crap for someone who might actually believe it.

yep, people judge based on what's on the outside. case in point, i'm black, though most don't think so. yet i was coming from a dance class one evening and was at work during the day and had left my sneakers at home. to make a long story short, i left the dance class in sweat pants, a large t shirt, my hair was messed up from dancing, had my dress work overcoat and dress shoes, carrying two big bags, long story short, i looked like a bum. when i got on the train, the looks i got from people, the change in body position, look if disappointment on their faces, and they have no idea about how high i rank in my company.

sure blacks have a tendency to steal, hell look at court cases and prisons, and sure whites have a tendency to steal too, just look at court cases and prisons right? it's all about what you get caught with, and what you don't, thus, racial profiling, etc. get the point? folks won't profile a young white couple going into saks but the sure will a black couple, and the assumptions could be wrong on both counts, or right.

now, when a loud mouth, loud cursing black person gets on the train, you bet i get on the defense, because you'd better not come my way. when a loud mouth white drunk white person gets on the train, damn right, you'd ALSO better stay out of my way.

the only color i'm prejudiced against is "stupid", other than that, i give all a fair shake until they prove that they don't deserve it.

Here's a tip from the "white man" and how I/we shop.

I hate hate shopping to begin with so when I do force myself I try to get it over a fast as possible. I usually know exactly what I want so as soon as I walk in the door I grab the nearest clerk and ask them nicely for help. Smile, be nice and cordial. Don't let them get away. If someone is snooping around watching, put them to work too. I figure I am the customer and I have the cash and nothing to hide. When I'm finished and ready to pay, I'll offer to pay for their lunch ($10-$20 tip) especially if they'll carry my crap out to the car. The next time I walk in the store, that clerk will either trip over themselves to help me or run away. Clothing to pool chemicals, it works every time.

I even warned you to read the ENTIRE thing. Context is everything; it does your (very thin) "argument" no favors to cherry-pick small sections, then try to spin them in a manner you think will support your ignorant beliefs.

For example, your quote has to do with profiling in general, not the use of that practice as it relates to minorities. Based on your ineffective response to my post, I believe you missed the section specifically devoted to Racial profiling:
