if the bachelor was black and had 25 black females vying for his attention the show would be extreme low in the ratings. Most blacks don't watch this reality show and whites wouldn't spend their time watching a black man date black women.
If he had mostly white women vying for his attention Black women would get angry and white men would be angry which would lead to low ratings once again. Maybe if the black bachelor was an athlete or celebrity people would watch because of his celebrity status and it would not matter if he picked a white girl because most of them do that anyway....

It is late 2010. When this thread started no one could have imagined that we would have a black President. And there are many who hope that he would be a one termer or less (tea party). America is ready for a black bachelor if all the female contestants are non-white (Asian, black, dark skinned Indian or dark skinned Hispanic). No, Anerica is not ready for a black bachelor with a white female in his arms....for that matter they may not be ready for a white bachelor with an Asian female in his arms!

January 3, 2011, 7:45 AM Eastern Standard Time, as I said, US is not ready for a abchelor with an Asian female in his arms......black President or not....I will bet one thinng...the chances of Obama getting re-elected President are astronomically lot higher than a white bachelor on ABC with an Asian female in his arms.......and even if that happens in 2014, look for her white competitors to unlease vitriol racist or otherwise....
