Thatcher loved conservatives.
Liberals are morons.
barock has to bring his teleprompter everywhere.
She DISDAINED Sarah Palin and other of you contemporary rightists. She at least liked Ronald Reagan even after he embarrassed himself in from a the British Parliament with his call for crusades against Communism and socialism.(British laughed. It seems UK rightists were at least intelligent enough not to believe their own bullshid. LOL!)
Thatcher once said that Reagan was a nice person who simply had a little too much space between his ears. LOL!
But as Bill Maher put it contemporary conservatives (like Palin whom he was then speaking of) make Ronald Reagan--the Grand Doufus of the 1980s--look like a Harvard professor. LOL!

Thatcher probably agreed.

Former British Prime Minister Margaret Thatcher and former President Ronald Reagan were, in the words of one close aide, "political soulmates."

Reagan, who was elected a year after Thatcher assumed office in 1979, found in her a fresh, conservative voice who he could align with on many international issues. And in nearly a decade of working together, she found in him a personal friend and an equal on the global stage.

He offered her stronger support than any previous American president in dealing with terrorism in Northern Ireland, said biographer Geoffrey Smith, author of "Reagan and Thatcher."

Thatcher hated liberal socialists.

She said they always make a mess after they run out of other people's money.

You sound like a prepubescent child. Sarah Palin went to UK and Margaret Thatcher REFUSED to see her. Though she befriended Reagan, the Grand Doufus of the 1980s, not even the "iron lady" could stomach the likes of Palin.
And probably could not stomach the likes of you. Your European conservative contemporaries think your buffoons to embarrassing to be seen with. LOL!

And Martin Luther King was a LEFT progressive, not a conservative Doufus.

Its hilarious to listen all that shit about "researching" "Doctor" King hahaha. The FBI researched the filthy lying whoremonger while he was alive. Why not ask for some copies of their RESEARCH? And as far as you numbskulls talking about him being a Doctor why not INVESTIGATE which high school he graduated from before those negroe cooncage colleges give him the false titles of Reverand and Doctor. Maybe you can also include how he was born Michael King and how his father took him to Nazi Germany to meet Hitler in 1939 and have his name changed. Now that would be interesting!!!!!!!!!! And do the public a favor and stop asking topix to erase the TRUTH about your so called "Doctor!"

Teaparty morons on Medicare, getting uninsurance benefits, protesting govt programs, LOL!!!
Teapartiers all live on socialism but are so stupid they want to bite the hand that feeds them.
That's the sort of intelligence we customary see exhibited by connedservatives.
No, that's absurd. sONE was wanting to know more about the Tea Party and I provided a link to an article about them, very objective, by one of the best political theorists today, one who is somewhat sympathetic but critical of them. You, however, posted some hysterical nonsense about "Nazis."

Paranoid nuttery.
Educational institutions today SUCK with high tuition, political stifling by connedservatives, emphasis on JOBS rather than actual knowledge.
This is a civilization in decline, and the decline began with Ronald Reagan, that vile criminal against humanity.
You are right that our educational institutions are in decline. Tuition is increasing at a ridiculous pace. The humanities are in decline. What we have is a college bubble. This has been recognized for awhile and has been written about. But you can't again scapegoat Ronald Reagan for that. That is the height of paranoid nuttery.

The national government has been encouraging as much people to go to college as possible, no matter who they are, because they think that the more people go to college the better it is for the economy. This is so wrong-headed. The national government subsidizes loans through tax-payer money for people to attend college. That, along with the government jawboning on how important a college education is to be a productive member of the economy (thereby further increasing demand), encourages the universities to increase tuition. It's a never-ending cycle, that is, until the singularity is reached and the bubble pops. It's going to. It happened to the housing market most recently, it's going to happen to the college education.

Wrong of course, but then a fascist wouldn't get it. You'd probably have called the French Resistance "terrorists" too, huh Herr Halfwit?:)
The French Resistance were resisting an occupying army.

I support Irish Home Rule. I just disagree with their tactics.

The idiots here do not even have books in the bookstore. They have never ordered the books on time not once. And when they do, they charge so much money, we cannot afford to pay for them. It is a disgrace. Everything costs more on campus than it does in the open market. It costs not less than $50/day just to eat on campus. It is straight out robbery. But robbery is going on everywhere we look. I do not believe in this capitalism I do not care what anybody says. It is immoral and crooked
Savant's book on MLK is on sale at Amazon.com for $78.48 (list price $100.00). BTW, Savant wasn't so much the author of the book as he was the editor of it.

All opposition to Irish Republicanism and unity wasn't military, douchebag. LEARN something about the conflict before you puff open your pie-hole.
I'm not a liberal lemming. I make my own opinions.

I'm second generation irish catholic. My family is from the Northern part of the Republic, IRA Central. My grandfather told me terrible stories about English oppression. My family took in orphans from Belfast during the 70s.

That said, I still don't agree with their targeting of civilians.

I've forgotten more about the Troubles than you'll ever know.
