This is a dating site for married people. OK, we all know people cheat, more or less, there are stats...but IMO, there is something *really* immoral about such sites. They facilitate unfaithfulness and lies.

Although I don't care about swingers, that's their chosen life-style. They're, at lesat in theory, sincere. But, here is a complete business enterprise aimed at- lies, duplicity,...

Your very misogynistic and sexist for one. So sought after Poor White women in your office to have affairs so what is wrong with your White wife having an affair since you sought them?

GOD says Adultery is wrong because it ruins families but you know this already!

I know women who cheat on their husbands. Funny, now Black women are cheating on their spouses and BF with White males! LMAO

Women respond to what men do which is why things are messed up!

Based on what Ive seen in men like you! Women need to find someone on their level equal or above! If you see someone while in a relationship; why not "Dip that Stick on the side " like men do!?

Black men bring the least the to table and cheat 10 times more than other races of men!

I think this is so because Black men have more time; since many don't pursue careers or get additional educations. They also don't take care of their families or get involved with their kids while other races of men; mentor, raise their sons, invest in their children lives!

Every one of my GF said they have cheat and will cheat to find the Best man even my older GF; they said men do too much while women remain more faithful; so why should they remain faithful?

There's no reason!

I'm so tired of the ad popping up when I am on Topix, including making a mask like effect. Topix really needs to come up with another way to advertise this filth, without the constant need to "x" out of the masking.

The Ashley Madison ad really sucks.

And that pop-up blocker does nothing at all to help deal with Ashley's nasty site.

I hate it when people walk in the room and think I am looking at some porn site, with the woman looking like she's ready to do a B.J !!!!!!

I agree. I have not been successful in stopping these Ashley Madison pop ups. It really makes me angry. It is so crazy how Topix advertises this crap.

this ashley madison thing is one of the most blatantly immoral business ventures ever. they're not on promoting, but exploiting marital disharmony. They're telling people to cheat on their spouses then providing them with a website that facilitates and enables marital infidelity. Only a scumbag would actually try and make a business of this... but the bottomline is money...and i guess some people feel that if people are gonna cheat anyway, they might as well make some money off of it.

The ad is quite annoying since it pops up every time!!!
Immoral? Of course it is immoral but should I expect less in the times of "it is okay to do anything as long as it is not hurting anyone"? Does not matter if it is not hurting someone physically this stuff can effect people mentality. That's why it is important to be careful what you watch (take in).

I'm starting to think that the populace doesn't put that much emphasis on cheating anymore. Sure men and women will get upset. But will the cheater really get shunned? Probably not.

Look at the popular tv shows. They all involve cheating in one form or another. The public loves it.

I guess art is imitating life.

The people who defend this website always give me the lamest excuse for it's existance : "Infidelity happens anyways , so why not make it easier , and more out into the open".

100% true that it happens , always has and always will , but pedophilia and human trafficking happen also , should we allow and support websites promoting those deviant behaviors?

I'm aware that these things happen in an open society , and I would never call for the site to be shutdown , as I believe it is a personal decision on whether to use it.

You know , the people behind it are probably getting filthy rich off of others' misfortune.

I sure hope they sleep well at night.

are you saying infidelity and promoting infidelity doesn't hurt anyone? Do you not see any difference at all between behavior that is actually destructive and harmful and behavior that you just disapprove of because it "doesn't look right" to you?

Desmond: of course I think it hurts people. My point is in this day and age we condone so much that of course we are going to have these immoral sites. It is like a chain. First it started off with innocence, for example, women's rights which led to feminism and "if a man can do it I can too".

Yes, I know the difference but everyone's personal style is not the same "to me" as someone who has tattoos or body piercing.

LOL! Seriously...married people don't need any help in finding outside willing partners to f*ck. There's plenty who believe that the fact you are married only adds to the thrill of stealing someone else's joy ride.
However, if Topix wants to play pimp to Ashley Madison's ho for a few extra Monopoly dollars, who gives a f*uck, but just call it want it is: a new kind of online solicitation for the purposes of illicit sex.
The problem I have with it is the way that it pops up and then masks the screen. I don't see any other ads that do that. The fact that it is filthy is another issue, and I do not like having to look at the ad so big on my screen.

I get the impression that they want us to accidentally click on the site.
The ads at the top of the page were enough for anyone genuinely interested in the site. But the pop up means sometimes you accidentally click on it and have to close down the page.
Ads should not be so intrusive that you accidentally click on them or have to X them every time you change a page.
