Overall South Africa's Indian and white population are declining, but the whites may become extinct by 2061, a new study has predicted.
The study by South African Institute of Race Relations has revealed that the country's white population is declining by about 0.3 per cent every five years, News24.com quoted a city press report as saying.
This decline in white population has been attributed by the institute to lowered fertility rates affecting the middle class across all population groups, as well to continued white emigration.
City Press extrapolated the figures and discovered that, if the current decline trends persisted, white South Africans would be extinct by the year 2161, while the Indian population would decline marginally.
Figures contained in the institute's yearly South Africa Survey showed that South Africa's white and Indian population were declining, while the country's coloured and black African population groups were growing.
The study predicted that by 2025, the black African population would have grown by about five million from the current level of 40 million.
Over the same period the white population would have declined by 350,000 to a level of just more than four million.
The country's white population was declining because of lowered fertility rates among women that was a ‘symptom of the middle class

The work will be hard and long but I think BLACK OWN Social Service Agencies are NEEDED THROUGHOUT AFRICA. I have to ask everyone for forgiveness on my previous email to ZEW. I had stated I agreed with him but after reviewing his comments again they were suspicious. He was not writing his comments to help Blacks but to harm us. Professor Awodwa, your words of welcome to the other Blacks all over the world mean SOOOOOO MUCH! These words of welcoming open doors to other Blacks, it knock down walls that once said "You Don't Belong Here (AFRICA)," those words let other Blacks know (especially AA) that its okay to walk through it...NO MATTER WHAT NONBLACK PEOPLE MIGHT SAY, WE WILL ALWAYS BE APART OF AFRICA, WE WILL ALWAYS BE ONE:)We (Blacks) need to change how we greet one another, how we treat one another, and most of all RESPECT one another in Africa AND ALL OVER THE WORLD. Image is EVERYTHING. I hate to see entertainers and upper professional Blacks act indifferent with other Blacks, not just here in the States but all over the world. How quick we forget who we are when MONEY COMES INTO THE PICTURE. Blacks need to WORK ON THEIR UNITY. Their is strength and love in UNITY. You have some good throughts but when you go asking Dkanela contact information of people;that make some of the readers wonder just who you are. You didn't ask Dkanela to past on information on how to reach you. The things you spoke of hunger,poverty,homelessness,la ck of housing domestic violence,diseases,education,vi olence/crime were all good thoughts but when you start going into areas you don't have all of the facts about then you leave people disenchanted. Yeah they wont hurt you, or attack you, and will not treat you like dirt, and will give you a chance but not as much of a chance as they'd give another african or their country men.

AA can find one of those countries to live in. Pick up your families and leave. A lot have already don't so. We have the money, education and skills. What are we waiting for?
