i know some cape verdes living in the boston area. though they talk africa they seem to want to be portugese. but i love cape verdes and think they're very kind friendly beautiful people.

i can tell you the very first time i met some ethiopians was at a sports bar during a celtics game. there were three of them and i was there alone. so they called me over and treated me to some drinks, and within about 15 minutes we just started getting into all this african/black/afrocentric stuff, like i was at one of my family gatherings.
i've never had that experience with any other africans.

I spend most of my time in East Africa, and I agree with you, but I have met Nigerians who were also Black Nationalists.

most AA men or people don't even see a difference in AA women and caribbean women for the most part.

Nia Long is caribbean, you didn't know?
Tatiana Ali is half caribbean and half mixed or afro latina.
alot of actresses/singers that have been out a long time are caribbean
and of course new, rihanna.

Any way I prefer Black latinas..........they tend to be closer to AA men in my opinion. Im not against african females but please this thread is about black Latinas & Caribbeans, if you want to talk about african women I think there is a thread about them..........no offense but this thread is dedicated to Black Latinas and caribbeans

i dated a nigerian girl who was beautiful and kind, but she wasn't very afrocentric. but i do think that aa should checkout all of africa if they're thinking about an african woman. but as the OP reminded me this thread is about latinas and caribbean women :)
