But. I don't relax my hair. I wear mine in it's natural curly state, but sometimes I get a blow out. I like to change it up, nothing wrong with that. The standards of beauty are eurocentric. But there is no law that says we should abide by them or hold ourselves up to that standard. It is a personal choice for many at this point. I do agree that some black people need free themselves from their mindsets which were passed down by their elders. I am angered at the people that gave into the "brainwashing" than the ones who are attempting to brainwash people. Growing up, i was always told that having dark skin was not desirable by my dad's side of the family but i did NOT accept their reasoning because it did not go in line with mine, even at such a young age. Is it not strange that we carrying on where massa left off and still keep blaming him for it while WE are the ones that took whatever they spoon fed us, internalized it and keep passing it on to our seeds?. The burden of breaking this mold lies with us. Blaming the white folks that are alive today detracts from this mission and there is no point to it.

But no. You want to short change our power, and influence. You pissed me off. Believe what you want. Can't believe this sell out azz shyt.

The ban they have imposed on coffeeshops is outlandish. The whole purpose of those businesses is to smoke up the goods you've bought. The owners of those cafes are going to be hurt the most. I am just curious how the tourists will react to this change in the coming months.

It is working well in the UK from what I have heard. Other Western European nations are now jumping on the bandwagon. These Dutch people are the heaviest smokers I have ever seen. I am glad they banned it in restaurants and bars. But the coffeeshops should have been spared.
