You deserve the real thing. Stop concerning your self with tar girls who try hard to have what we have. It's very laughable to see tar girls pay good money to be like us. If you have moved on, why does what tar girls do bother you? Leave them in the gutter and attend to your beautiful girlfriend or wife. Whose hair is silky and ewal.

You forget we've all seen your photo and your hair is far from silky, its processed and resembles straw.Your hair didn't stop your black man leaving you and your tar kid for another woman.

I have a problem with weave because i think they're really damaging to your hair, they can be too tight and rip off your scalp like it did to my friends, and when they are so tight and you wear them alot they make your hair line descend and you start to lose your hair, i think being more natrual is good for BW braids or just sue in extensions are better,
i never had put that damaging stuff in my hair so i was able to grow my hair pretty long it is to my back, and it was all my real hair.
but i cut it cause i was starting to get tired of it.
Yes, pulling a black woman's braids is so much better than pulling her weave.

1. Your hair fashion is another woman's sacrifice.
2. It looks extremely tacky
3. It damages the natural hair
4. Most women who rock weave are oppose to natural hair
5. Why isn't your natural hair good enough.. It is more diverse that a straight hair or weave?

When you wear natural hair most black men give "Insults" all the time! They also say my skin is too dark and i'm not light enough for a Black man!

I actually had someone say this on my job! Can you believe the shchitt some Black men say? Its like they don't think about what they say or should I say, I think its more they don't care!

I tell them I get compliments from the White man I"m dating and they have a funny look on their faces!

I mean I guess I see what many people are saying minus all the trolls, but I still just think that people take it way deeper than what it really is, I agree with one of the posters I really hate all these mother relaxing their children hair at a young age not only is it damaging to their hair, but their self-esteem as well. I agree with another poster on how weaves can be damaging if too tight, etc and I do think for some women it hinders things, however it's not that way for all. I am sad that some women will never want to show or grow their natural hair, but I can't pretend this society makes it easy to convince people their natural appearance is beautiful, I mean I've heard countless stories of schools putting stipulations against dreads, afro puffs, and even the recent story where they said the girl hair was too distracting in school. I digress a bit, but I get so many people angry at the women choosing not to experience the ridicule society has given, instead of understanding the what behind the why, anywho I believe like the other posters say natural hair is beautiful and manageable for many, but like I stated it is time consuming and if my finances as well as my hair permits me a break from doing it, than I am going to do it and love it and be thankful that I as a women of color can and will change my hair in accordance to self expression as well as convenience, people may be offended, but you truly can't please everyone, especially as a black person, I am not attracted to dudes who sag their pants, but you won't see me make millions of post about it make YouTube videos about it ridiculing them, if that's how they choose to express themselves it's their personal choice all I can do is have an opinion about it and move on.

Weave is a representation of the disconnect between AAM and AAW.

It also is a good representation of the "bond" between AAW and WM, AM, SM, etc.

I think I saw a video by your boy Tommy Sotomayor about this very issue & the popular consensus among the black males he interviewed was not the looks of the weaves the average black female wears, but the fact that they wear these cheap weaves so long that they start to reek of stale sweat & funk, and that among other black female lack of proper hygiene issues, including but not limited to the reek of urine & the stench of fish in their genital area, period odor & general unwashed boy funk.

Look at you silly sheboons making any excuse you can to deflect from the fact you don't wash your scalp for months at a time when you wear fake hair. Disgusting feral animals, the whole lot of you.

On a side note, wearing fake hair does not make you bowling ball nostril banana mashers look more human, it just makes you look more clownish.

Honestly, because most black women look stupid in it. Everyone in the world knows its not our hair. Nit because its straight, but because its usually supr shiny and faker looking than a $3 bill. It's embarrassing because most women only wear then because they hate their natural hair.
Don't tell me "its easier to manage" because that's an excuse. They wear the because they don't like their natural hair, and that's another way to say that its bad "its hard to manage"... Sad.
- An aware Black female
First of all... just because their hair might be harder to manage doesn't mean they hate or dislike it. I have 4C natural hair. The up keep is exhausting but I LOVE my hair. Also just because it's hard to manage doesn't make it bad. Picture this. At work sometimes it can be stressful and hard to manage the things you have to do, pretend it's your dream job. Does that make your job bad no, it's just simply hard to manage at times. Occasionally I wear weaves because it's easier to manage and gives my hair a break, it's called a protective style. I'm very ashamed that you would discriminate your own race. Are you aware of that??
