The only time that really happens is when it is a high profile defendant and only after the judge allows them to speak. Not all jurors are even asked for interviews. The only way a juror can speak is when the judge lifts the gag order.Being on a jury in the United kingdom is seen as a very serious responsibility.
Culturally it is unacceptable here for any British citizen to use jury service to try to make money or get their 15 minutes of fame.

The U.S. is not the U.K. plain and simple, things are different and that's okay. Our prosecutors don't wear white wigs over here either and that may look ridiculous to people in other countries but that's how you do it in the U.K. and that's all right too.
