Time has to exist in order for the universe to expand. If you stop Time, you stop everything. If the universe had no beginning, then it couldn't have a middle, or an end.

Ex. I just clapped 10 times. Each time I clapped it was the present, meaning that something shifted and made way for the next "present Clap". The way we measure this shift is called "Time".

So yes, I believe in "Time".

Gravitation acts in no time. Laplace calculated that, in order to keep
the solar system together, the gravitational pull must propagate with a
velocity at least fifty million times greater than the velocity of light. A
physical agent requires time to cover distance. Gravitation defies time.

No. Time is a mechanism to measure things. It's useful but also frustrating. If we measured time by a lunar calendar I would be older now than I am in the Gregorian one.

I always thought that time was a tool invented by man to track the sequence of events. It is for the most part, an illusion.

time can not be perceived. It is the NOW....the moment right NOW that we can identify the most with.

Time (or at least our measure of it) seems to be a completely man-made construct. It is relative, depending on the velocity at which you are traveling.

I suspect that time 'from a universal perspective' is cyclical in nature with no real beginning or end.. So in that regard you could argue that it doesn't exist.

From a biological human perspective, time certainly does exist though. It is one of the most important gauges we use to measure things with. Namely, our mortality..

Why not.. "I believe in time" (& elfs)

Did you know that the human clock is different to the conventional clock? There are times when your body will tell you to sleep, etc.

Laplace was wrong, and all of you are wrong. Einstein proved that time is the fourth dimension of the 4D space-time continuum. try reading some books. Gravity is a curvature of the continuum.

Einstein was either an idiot, thief or dis-information agent. and i will prove it to you..first off, i do this for a living, which means i get a pay check for it. now the first words on the first day i went to work was, everything you learned in college throw it out the window because it will hamper your engineering capabilities, next was the old e=mc2 was told that was an outright lie; e=energy m=mass c2= speed of light squared. its right in your face why cant your see what the problem with this is? lets do this...in area 4ft squared=16ft c2 or the speed of light squared=186282 miles per second squared which = something that is impossible! you cannot square the speed of light because of what the biggest dis-informant (Einstein) said there is nothing faster then the speed of light

Einstein's work was meant to keep the common human in the dark and always dependent on others, why do you think that an engineering graduate gets out of school and cannot create anything thats is TOTALLY ENERGY EFFICIENT?

water is 800x the weight of air but is stored in the millions of tons in the atmosphere. do you know how this is possible? being that the are things i am not allowed to discuss, because of secrecy, but i can tell you this; do not think GRAVITATIONAL ATTRACTION but rather think ELECTROMAGNETIC ATTRACTION, i am allowed to say that and that should clear up everything for you.

no i KNOW YOU ARE AN IDIOT and if your not then prove it wrong or shut up, the world is in its present day sickness because of IDIOTS LIKE YOU! PROVE IT WRONG BUT YOU CANT, NOW WHO IS THE REAL IDIOT?

Buffoon, he was not saying light is squared, are you really that stupid?

He was saying that the energy equivalent of matter is its mass multiplied by the square of SOL. It is not saying that SOL itself can be squared. Suare in this sense is not a trigonometric value, idiot.

If you square the speed of sound, the physical speed of sound remains the same.

Einstein was just saying that there is a finite amount of shit in the universe and that energy has a maximum universal value, it is for philosophers to work out what a universe that was 100% energy would be like.
