Well no not really. The Samaritans have been shown through Y-DNA that they are related to the ancient Israelites. They only have about 2% African DNA. They carry all the indigenous Haplogroup J1 and J2 and some of them carry the ancient Israelite Kohen DNA from the Tribe of Levi! The mtDNA show them to be Assyrian. Most indigenous Middle Eastern people do not have high levels of African DNA and Ethiopians do not have Haplogroup J2. They obviously didnt breed with Ethiopians because they thought they were ugly LOL.<quoted text>
i'd have to agree a hebrew is likely the mixing of asiatics in mesopotamia (shemites) with the more dominant cushites (nimrod's kingdom) in that region. with maybe some phuttite admixture tossed in.
the people today who probably most represent the ancient hebrews would be your ethiopians and egyptians.
