When religion was in schools, children acted like children. Take religion out of schools and children start shooting up the school and community. Explain this!

When religion was in the home mothers and fathers were secondary and the childre were primary. Even if they didn't get along, they stayed together for the sake of the children. Take religion out of the home, mother and father became primary and the children was relegated to second place. Now days, if two adults can't get along, escapism is the answer for selfish people and woe to the child. Explain this.

When religion was in the community, sexual immorality......ah what the hell? We're fked up and will not get fixed up.

When religion was in control, we had things like the Inquition, slavery, witch burnings and mass warfare.

I know what you are saying and it's a good post, but times change you know. We will not go backwards, even if backwards is forwards ...

Even strong people feel weak at some time in their lives. And when that happens God is their for us, even if we sadly don't give him as much time as he deserves the rest of the time.

Actually organized religion is for a group of people who share common spiritual belifs and/or practices and some religions have small exclusive numbers. Insulting those who dont believe in the same things as you combined with your statement only shows how weak-minded you are.

Yea that only be true if you believe in Darwinism or Evolution thinking things get bigfer, smarter and better but lost civilization, with lost technology will say otherwise. So maybe these laws we have through these old texts are correct and timeless.

But not nearly as weak-minded as you since you need religion as a crutch and regularly drop to your ashy knees to talk to a Jew that hasn't been around for 2,000 years and is not coming back. You also sound totally dumb enough to give ten percent to your church like all the rest of the hypocritical morons who think they can buy a ticket to heaven. LMFAO!!!!!!!!!!

thanks for the post.

If mass murder, sexual immorality, stiff necked, high headed, zoolatry, goth, zombies on drugs... are the results of change, then we've changed for the worse.

Ms. Lanza couldn't lay down in her own home to rest. People can't run in a marathon. Times have changed indeed.

God is "there" for you? How convenient. Was he there during the Black Plague in Europe during the Middle Ages? Was he there during the Holocaust in WWII? Was he there during the mass murders, tortures, and ethnic cleansings in Africa? I guess he couldn't fit those minor irritations into his busy schedule.

It's during the hardest times that we search for comfort from God. He can give us mental comfort during those times.

The darker the hour the more comfort God will give us, if only we seek him.

Yet the negroes did not benefit from any of that and were still considered only 3/5ths human back in those days. Therefore, your post simply reduces you to a colored cheerleader for da man. LOL!!!!!!!

Do you think God is the eternal baby sitter for humanity?

Poor baby stomped his toe. Shame on God for letting poor baby suffer pain.

Poor baby ate too much candy and have a rotten tooth. Shame on God for allowing poor baby eat all that candy.

WHAT DO YOU THINK THIS IS, HEAVEN?

If you don't like to vote, give it back.
If you don't like civil rights, give it back
If you don't like being served in restaurants.....
If you want to ride in the back of the bus....
If you want to give your seat to a white man...

If you don't want what the SOUTHERN CHRISTIAN LEADERSHIP CONFERENCE gave you, give it back.

People are dying to get to America because, the SCLC made it feasible for people to be judged by the content of their character instead of the color if their skin.

People all over the world are using the SCLC as a model and don't you forget it?

Since the Bible claims that God in ominpresent, all-encompassing, and eternal, it should be no problem for him to be everywhere at once. Besides, the catastrophic episodes in history I referred to would have required more than "baby sitting" to rectify the gross injustice and inequities that occured during those horrific events. If the Christian ideaology of God is accurate, then he can and does see every single incident or occurence, large or small. Do you think that NO ONE at all actually prayed during the Inquisition, the Holocaust, or during massive, destructive earthquakes? Like I insinuated earlier, it appears as though God picks his spots either because he is limited in the scope of his power or he just doesn't care or at least inspired with the same level of intensity for each occasion.
