Indonesia shrugs at rising religious violence: report

Date February 28, 2013

Michael Bachelard

Indonesia correspondent for Fairfax Media

http://www.smh.com.au/world/indonesia-shrugs-...

JAKARTA: Indonesia has experienced a "sharp uptick" in religiously motivated violence, with Islamic gangs regularly attacking Christian churches as well as "deviant sects" of their own faith, a strongly worded new report has warned.

The report by Human Rights Watch warns that the Indonesian Government, police and military are "passively, and sometimes actively" condoning these new extremists, in contrast to the way they "wrestled to the ground" the terrorists of Jemaah Islamiah in the past decade.

Violent clashes over anti-Islam film in Pakistan, Afghanistan, Indonesia

http://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2012/sep/...

Gee, I thought there wasn't any violence in Indonesia...Oh right. They have muslimes there, so of course there is violence. Islam goes hand in hand with violence and irrational hatred.

Java: Muslim violence against statues of other religions
by Mathias Hariyadi

http://www.asianews.it/news-en/Java:-Muslim-v...

A radical Muslim group, the Islamic Defender Front (FPI), launches an appeal for the destruction of “un-Islamic” statues, like Chinese dragons, representations of the Buddha or Christian icons if they are in public places rather than in places of worship.

Death and destruction, the basic pillars of islam.

Indonesian blasphemy law sparks Muslim violence in Java

http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2011/feb/15/i...

Indonesia has been shocked this month by two outbreaks of religious violence on the island of Java, involving Muslim fundamentalists who attacked members of the Muslim Ahmadiyya sect and, in a separate incident, three Christian churches.

I thought Indonesia was sooo peaceful...

As I said earlier, life is the best teacher, you can say I'm violent or whatever, but all I said was some Muslims would take offense, did I say all; did I say most no. I said go up to a Muslim and say what you typed to them and see what happens, I said everyone is an individual , and life is full is the best teacher. Don't hide behind a keyboard, experience life, find out for yourselves what Islam really is, and not what some portray it to be. Stop being so ignorant about the world around you, stop thinking all Muslims are violent extremists, there are moderates and extremists in all religions and all colors of people. If I remember correctly it was a Christian nation that dropped two nuclear bombs. It was Christian nations that invaded Iraq, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria, Syria, Mali, Somalia etc.. you get my point.

The words of someone who can't come up with a logical response after being caught out as a violent and hateful savage, unfit to live in civilized society.
Go throw your bum in the air and try to foget that you made a fool of yourself, and proved once again that muslimes are violent!
Muslims are only violent when they are attacked for worshipping God who duty binds them to fight against those who set up partners with God when God wants to rule alone

In other words, you are saying that Muz are instructed BY THEIR RELIGION to be violent.
Yes, that is correct.
Jesus said "turn the other cheek".
Hinduism preaches ahimsa, to harm no living thing.
Islam preaches jihad, cutting off hands and feet, stoning women... what a vile cult of madness!!!
Jesus didn't say "turn the other cheek", he asked "Why smackest thou me?"
