Yes I am in fact very pissed off at the Burmese govt. They are committing genocide on the Karen. Now supposedly things have changed, we shall see.

They claimed things have changed in Guatemala, but no.

Yes I am very opposed to the plight of the so-called “Palestinians”, though I have a different interpretation of it than you do. Their plight was created by the actions of their fellow Arabs. NOW, they are stuck almost like the civilians in that final battle between Julius Caesar and the Gauls, stuck between the two combattants and unable to go either way, starving in between the 2 armies.

Now, they are still refused assimilation by their Arab brothers, and subject to Israeli brutality because the situation is such that Israel is armed camp.This is not understood by the “Palestinian” child who grows up being told to be a martyr and hate Jews. But remember also, there are “Palestinians” who are citizens of Israel and have full rights, including Arabs serving in the Knesset.

But the people who suffer... are the victims of this politics. Why do those in power so easily disregard the suffering of others? Muslims or not really doesn't matter. The Pakistani army was massacring Bengali Muslims in 1972. Not acceptable.

And I could go on citing examples of Muslim victims, Muslim perps, Christians, etc., on and on. Yeah, it all stinks.

Got to disagree with you on Palestine Barros. The Deir Yassin massacre and Pan Delet began long before any attack by Arab forces so you can't exonerate Jews from culpability for the ethnic cleansing of 1948. Nor do Palestinians have equal rights in Israel, the planning laws or rules regarding spousal residence (just to pick two at random) are blatantly geared towards Jews and against Palestinian Israeli citizens. There's also the matter of resource allocation where 20% of the population receives only the table scraps - particularly in regards education. And when did Jews have their property seized by the state to be given to Palestinians? Something that, in the other direction happens all the time in Israel. Nor have you mentioned the strong strain in Israeli society of Jews raised to hate ALL non-Jews, something that seems to be getting stronger year after year. And all that's without getting into the war crimes and crimes against humanity perpetrated by Israel in the Occupied Territories.

Oh and it's not "Palestinian" it's Palestinian - the identity is recognised the world over, putting it in quotation marks is just offensive.
