Maybe, he read many comments on bulletin-boards,
and thought "Oh, people donot like public-welfare! American-top1% can exploit this emotion!"

But, he is wrong.
(White-)People donot like public-welfare,
BECAUSE today, even White-Americans are poor!!!!!

American-99% must rise now!
American-99% must anger now!

People cannot take care of others, BECAUSE of American-top1%, Wall-Street, American-Military-Industry!!!

The fact we are labeled Black Americans as oppose to Americans say America creates social distinction based on physical traits. Why NOT simply view everyone as American?? If everyone was viewed as American, we know America is MORE about Nationality as oppose to race. And we would know there is no distinction except for those who are foreigners. In order for someone to claim racism isn't a problem, one would have to show and PROVE institutional racism does NOT exist in America. No one has ever done this, so beliefs regarding racism are mostly opinionated. However what I do agree on is how the media exaggerate many stories related to race. What this does is make topics regarding race MORE appealing to the masses although the stories may NOT be as INTERESTING as the media make 'em out to be. Yes the media does want racism to be a popular topic but some of our experiences and American History is why some feel racism is a major problem. Just because there are Black middle class communities does NOT mean Middle class black and white residents are viewed and treated equally in America. This is the source of racism! There is still this negative stigma attached to all Black Americans created during the past in America hence Black Americans have to constantly prove ourselves in society we are this or NOT that. It's like we are all guilty until proven innocent. This is the result of racism!

Some of us black people don't want to admit Big Mike was "on one" that day. I wasn't there and I don't know what happened, but instead of rioting and looting we should let grand jury make a decision. If the grand jury say the shooting was justified, we have to accept it. I think Larry Elder isn't afraid to tell the truth about how some black people are. I'm glad they let him on because he's proof that all of us don't think alike. It's insane how many black on black murders we have every year, but soon as a white person shoots one of us we want justice.
But why does society think all BP think alike and why does a BP have to prove this?? This supports how policemen react, treat and deal with all BM but this isn't addressed. We're treated based on how we're perceived as a group until proven we're supposedly different as oppose to whites whom are all treated with respect until proven they do NOT deserve respect.

ELDER: I think the media perceives racism to be a far bigger in America. That’s why we spend so much time on people like Donald Sterling, and Cliven Bundy, and before that it was Paul Ryan, who said some things that were racially intemperate. I think we’ve been training black people to think racism is a bigger deal. I think the reason the left wants that is because of votes and power.
I think we have been training black people to think that racism is a bigger deal. And I think the reason that the left wants that is because of votes and power. As long as black people believe that race and racism are the major problem in America, you have got that 95 percent monolithic black vote, without which the Democratic Party cannot survive.
So you have the Jesses and the Als and Debbie Wasserman Schultz and Harry Reid constantly bringing up race cards, talking about Republicans raging a war against black people and so forth. So black people have been trained. Surprise, surprise, people in Ferguson believe that the racist criminal justice system is oppressing them, because Barack Obama and Eric Holder have said statements that have given that impression.
Why is it that when a racial issue comes up, racists yard monkeys like you blame Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson? The reason you do it is to deflect from the fact that the likes of you are racists. So you kkk yard monkeys are not fooling anyone. The real race baiters are the Tea Bigot infested GOP that welcome the likes of Cliven Bundy and Fox News.

Larry Elder, like Herman Cain, Allen West, and Clarence Thomas, is no more than a Conservative Uncle Tom. He faithfully serve the GOP dinner table while the GOP speak ill of the very race he is. He keeps his mouth shut. The only Black Republican that has spoken about racism in the GOP is Mr. Colin Powell and the racist GOP that loved him now want to burn a cross in his yard.

correction a decorated General Colin Powell......and he accomplished quite a bit, plus no one tried to keep him from all he's accomplishments. He speaks of racism ?
I admire him and all that he has done for our country, served bravely and is greatly appreciated. So where or how is it that he feels he has been discriminated against ? He worked his way to General and wasn't held back. Maybe reading some of his books would enlighten us on why he feels the way he does.

Yep. We have not yet arrived at the “post-racial America” of which pundits babble.

We can't claim racism has ended as long as the Police institutionally abuse the black community, not to mention the latino community.

The hysterical reaction of Republicans to having a black President is another indication that while progress has been made, this “racism” problem has not yet been solved so anyone's satisfaction.

today, even among White-Americans this huge-gap between the rich and the poor exists!

American-99% must anger now!
American-99% must rise now!
Feudalism exists.

Speaking of reading books, you may want to read a book on his life story and you will be enlightened, LOL! Mr. Powell has faced discrimination in his past. That is one of the reasons he has been able to quickly identify and address it about his GOP. He spoke the truth about racism in the GOP and his party cannot handle the truth. But please do not get away from the fact that the GOP is home to the right wing racists that has infected a once proud GOP. That is why they have not been able to win presidential elections. The country would rather have a Black man in the White House than the cast of idiots that are now calling themselves the voice of the GOP. Their tactics are racist and outdated and will never be able to fool today's well informed voter. After that vicious beating they received in the 2012 presidential election, they spoke of expanding the tent to include other minorities. The only thing they accomplished in that expansion is making more room for more right wing racists.
